GT350 Colors

That is not a GT350R. This is a standard GT350 with the optional track pack.



On a GT350R you cannot order DIB with black stripes. The only stripe color available is white

I do believe the new ordering guide dated 9/1 now states you can get an R with DIB with black stripes.

Wow. You're right. I hadn't noticed that before. They even put an asterisk next to the "new" option.

Their post photo processing really makes it pop! Either way it's still a very nice color and that stripe combo suits it well.

I didn't care for the white pinstripe at first but it does go well with the interior stitching.

Well, there will be plenty of those to go around. Every dealer ordered car I've seen has been that configuration.

With good reason, it's a beautiful combo with the black contrasting bits. It's the one that makes my heart go pitter-patter. It's also the classic GT350 scheme. As much as I love most of the other color combos, it's the one I keep coming back to.

Thanks for the replies about the pics of the R model in DIB with the Black painted roof and Black over the top racing stripes. Maybe a R will show up soon like this and someone will get some pics of it. My top 3 color choices on a R is classic white w blue, Race Red no strips, and DIB. They all look great to me. Tuff choice.

So question, I'm new to the S550 Mustangs, test drove one last weekend. Well the one thing I hate, and Ford did this on the 2011-2012 Mustang too, is the damn grey plastic that basically surrounds the entire bottom of the car. It would look a ton better if they painted it to match, or didn't use it at all. I noticed even the GT350's have this.

You mean the lip, side skirts and diffuser? It's supposed to be black to have contrast. Honestly it would look terrible the same color as the car. It would look like a cheap paint where they just paint everything.

Not only that, the road rash on these areas would be brutal.
I actually believe thats why they do this to many modern cars.
