I just got the jlt in Friday. I am out of town (again) until Monday. With luck I will get it together this week. I have another trip from 14-22 so if not this week, then the one after I get back for sure.

Definitely subscribed...

or will it work better with just a regular JLT made for the S550?

I believe if you have an intake that the piping can rotate and move a little, it should be fine with the boss. I believe just a slight rotate of the piping and it should fit fine.

Kool thanks. Im really just kinda waiting for the results of this thread and the CJ install thread to see if the CJ is worth the major price difference. Im guessing its not, but we will see.

I will be doing the boss first. For many reasons, change in plenum volume and runner length testing, utilizes the stock throttle body, is only $500 new, and will still benefit the coyote engine with proper tuning. Once I have tuned my car with the Boss manifold to show it's worth it, I will eventually move on to the CJ and CJ throttle body. The $1000 difference between the two setups right now isn't worth it just yet for me. The CJ will make more power, I believe it has larger diameter runners and a larger plenum than the boss, but both will be a nice improvement over stock. I am willing to give up the low end torque down low for the top end I am expecting. I be OP would agree.

The standard JLT will bolt up to the boss no problem.

You are assuming the 2011-2014 coyote intake. The 2015 intake has been revised. It flows more air than the earlier intakes. Bama did tuning with the Boss and ran it at the track. The 2014 GT intake worked better. If you can show the intake improved performance that would be great. I just don't think the gains will be there. Not peak hp to peak hp. We know torque will be less. The only advantage would be the extra RPM the Boss seemed to add on the 2011-14 coyote. But is slightly more rpm going to help the car more than the better average of HP/TQ across the whole engine RPM?

I am interested to see what the stock 2015 GT intake does against the CJ set up. I have a feeling gains will be minimal. With extra RPM being the main advantage.

Which reminds me to ask, is there threads with members Dyno numbers as well as lists for 1/8 & 1/4 mile drag racing? I don't think I have come across either one. Heck, I have not seen many threads showing before and after tunes on the 2015 GT.

The new tuner with Bama, not the old tuner. And at least the put forth an effort to try testing the different intakes.

Like I said, I would like to see back to back tests with the stock intake and Boss on a 2015. Both the dyno and the drag strip. But that never seems to happen as most people don't have a dyno. And consistency seems to be lacking in the testing most people do.

I know what a Boss and CJ did on a 2011-14 car. I rented a dyno and did back to back testing and ran them at the track. My buddy and I have a thread on SVTP showing all the info, dyno sheets and time slips. My full weight street car went 11.44 @ 116 consistently with cat deletes, Airaid, tune and suspension. The Boss was not able to match that ET or MPH. Then switched to a CJ set up. I did not test the CJ the same day as the others. But it went 11.2 @ 120. This was with a 3.73 gear and 28" tall tire. Someone could argue that he intake change could benefit from a gear swap. And I agree. But not something I was willing to do at the track. lol

Are you referring to Paul as their "new" tuner?

Yes, Versus Mike 'I caused a TSB for all coyote engines' Wilson. lol

I wouldn't run a Bama tune personally. But I am happy with the tuners I worked with in the past.
