Anyone seen the ford oem eu holder in real life? Any decent photos? I'm thinking just screw it and stick with what's 'original'...

Notes/New Mustang England solution seems to mount the plate at a slight angle downwards - not sure that is legal ::

I haven't given them any specific instructions, I'll post a pic of what I have on Thursday.

Here's the result from yesterday mod with NewMustangDE plate idea.
One small issue, I used the tape from the holder as well and now I can't slide the plate anymore. (not the brackets, just the plate) It's a bit to much to the left and I'm a perfectionist so to speak :frusty:

it look beautiful! :clap2:

Notes, what type of VHB tape have you used? I'm looking on amazon but there are many different types.

My problem to! And nobody seem to sell 3m vhb up here - all I got was some tesa professional, but I don't feel the need for 10m :)

Though I really liked that Pichon holder left the plate slightly lowered...

Tape: 3M VHB 5952F http://www.amazon.de/3M-doppelseiti...&qid=1440509382&sr=1-1-catcorr&keywords=5952F

Brackets: http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0040FVB5O?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00

Also note to clean the surface very well, I used window cleaner as I didn't have the 3M cleaning wipes. Also using it the way I did takes time and measurement, not an easy job.
Putting them in place with 2 screws would be the easiest way but like John say's... " then you screw your bumper"

What I also noticed today is that you only need to tape the sides (not like I did in the picture) and one part of the bottom or top (as you like), since the bumper seems to be a bit curved or rounded.
So today I saw that the top part of the tape was loose already from rain and tension.

I will redo it later this week, getting the tape off works with window cleaner and time/patience... or gently cut it with dental floss.

Thanks, strange that in Italy it's cheaper!

I can't use that plate holder because our front plate are smaller.. I'll simply tape the plate on the bumper :D

I was in doubt between 5292F (powder coated surface) and and 4952P, "for low energy substrates eg. PE or PP"

I found a webshop in NL that does, but only per roll of 33 meter :headbonk:
Don't you have Amazon in NL or in Norway? I'm always shocked when Italy is ahead to some other countries :eyebulge:

Just go Amazon, cheapest and easiest. I went to 2 recommended dealers by the 3M website and both didn't have any in stock + could only order 33 meters indeed.

I used the amazon.de and translated the parts of the checkout page that I couldn't understand.
Amazon.nl is only books and stuff... and amazon.com will checkout in the US, so higher shipping fees, longer waiting times + custom fees on higher priced orders. Long live translators;)
