Just wondering if anyone has any negative feedback from the police on this. I just recently started driving without a front. I have it in the trunk with the craigs bracket. I bought the bracket for the car shows this summer, and said uck it, i'm going to try leaving it off. Been to shows in Auburn Ma, Manchester NH and Conn. so far no problems. Anyone?

When I had my shiny red (DD) Wrangler for years no one said a word when I had a thick tubular front bumper and no plate. But since my stang came all drilled up in front I felt I had no choice.

I personally am not one who is concerned about that...though I can certainly see why others are.

(I had ohe CHP say something about not covering the lightbar lights, but I never did anything about that, either.)

Sucks they drilled it. I made a point of telling them no drilling.

I did the same, especially since there were other models more expensive than mine that they had no problem drilling before they were even sold. I was glad to see that they hadn't drilled it yet and made sure when they were prepping the car for me to take home that they didn't drill it. I took the plate holder out of the trunk and put it in my buddies car just in case lol.

I'm lucky I live in a state that doesn't require a front plate. The stow and go option is pretty sweet tho I thought for the guys that have to have em

Depends on how bored the cops are, I guess. I live in Ohio where a front plate is required. That said, I've been driving around for 15+ years without one and never been pulled over.

I got pinged for tint and front plate driving through NoVA. I installed the show n go holder and I'm happy enough with it.

I live in California. They are pretty strict. I get a ticket once a year. I just pay it-- you don't actually have to fix the violation. Same thing with my tinted windows-- they don't like that in California either.

The opposite here.
Thought it was a black-car issue, I had 2 black Mustangs and both times I'd get pulled every time I rolled without the plate. Made no difference, city, county, DPS whatever. Tried with my silver MX-5 and managed to go a couple of months before being tagged for no plate.

Not even trying with this one. The dealer installed the mount, so I'm running with the plate. They've beat the plate-fight out of me.

Klumpikats a REBEL.
I do not have a front plate. I drive onto the MC base everyday and the gate guard says something almost everyday.

SoCal. I've had my black '15 since November with no front plate and limo tint all around. No problems... yet. My previous car was an ingot silver '11 5.0 with tint. No issues on that one either after about 3 years of driving it.

Thanks. I dont mind if i get ticketed, i'd just pay it. But in MA this may be a surchargeable insurance offense, meaning higher costs. I need to contact Liberty Mutual.

I got pulled over in my 2007 for no front plate after 3 years of driving without one and got 160.00 ticket. I use the sto and sho bracket now because it isn't worth another damn ticket.
