Any fellow ecoboost owners have this exhaust? How do you like? Is it loud? What is your opinion? Also any other aftermarket exhaust owners feel free to give your opinion on your exhaust as I am about to get an aftermarket exhaust in the next few days!

IMO this is easily the best exhaust out there. I love the sound beyond belief. Some have said the drone is too much... yea, i just put 400 miles all highway on this car with this exhaust and had no drone.

Actually i can't recommend this exhaust enough, it doesn't let you sound like a ricer, and it keeps the car sounding mean and tuned.... you get a very very slight exhaust drone just under 2K rpms, but lower or above that, car has ZERO drone.

If you want, I can hop in tomorrow and take a coupe vids to show you.

I have conducted a bunch of research and I feel it's the best sounding exhaust for the ecoboost! I would love some video clips. I have listened to just about every exhaust video on YouTube so I would definitely love to hear a new angle. How loud is it at idle?

Not much more that needs to be said after this, Will hit the nail on the head.

Slight drone right where he stated but it's nothing that'll interrupt a conversation or that you'll even hear. If I focus in on it I hear it otherwise I'm oblivious to it.

It's pretty loud on a cold startup but at idle it's not loud at all. I've put over 2000 miles on it and I've loved every second of it.

Will,

Where at in MI are you? If you're in metro Detroit area I'd love to meet up sometime and check your car out.

I basically created an axle-back with magnaflow mufflers I purchased online... left the resonator intact. Cost me $350 or so installed....

To me it is the best sound for the convertible. I spent most of yesterday evening and last night with a close friend and we were riding around in the car. We had a mix of city and hwy driving... at all times the only time we did not talk was when I "got on it"... that was not much, but hey, it is mustang and people want to get pushed back in the seat.

Otherwise the mufflers did not interrupt conversation or sound out of place. It does sound cool when in the city and putting in "S" and letting first catch... gives that rumble and makes people smile.

It is about the perfect balance of not trying to be a V8 (aka trying too hard) while having something better than stock.

For vert drivers though, I would highly recommend they hear it before getting it done... they may want to consider staying stock if they drive around with a lot of people and want to chat while driving. While this is not bad, it is a bit louder than stock.

For verts it might be a better option to focus on the intake roush kit and sound like a turbo.

Any sound clips? I do not have a convertible, but would still love to hear it!

Just curious, as I am in the same position as you, did you ever consider the Solo Performance cat back? My decision has basically come down to these two, and I am having a real hard time picking one.

How much of the crackling of the exhaust can you hear while driving? I love the crackle of the exhaust, but wasn't sure how audible it is while driving.

I like the sound of the solo performance. It is in between (noise wise) of the magnaflow street and completion series. I want a little louder, so I will probably go with the comp series!

Also great information, the cold start will be heard but not intrusive, then when the car idles down its very nice and mellow. I live in a condo and my garage faces my neighbors garage, I have asked all of them if the exhaust is intrusive, especially the couple that just had their baby, they said if was perfectly fine.

I am metro Detroit for sure man! I live in commerce township, about 6 miles out from the main center of NOVI. let's meet up and go for a drive!

Here is the truth. I listened to videos over and over of almost every single exhaust. The comp sounded loud on video without a doubt, as a matter of fact after I ordered it and saw someone put a comp for sale because it was too loud for them I had second thoughts. I said eff it and I installed it, after driving it around I fell in love. Putting on an exhaust is meant to be heard. In fact you'll have to love an exhaust because with this one due to the mid resonator being eliminated and the piping being 2.5 instead of stock 2.25, you lose a little back pressure which ends up being a sight loss in torque that you can feel. Of course a tune will fix that completely but for those who won't tune, keep that in mind.

There is almost zero drone completely while cruising, like I said only just under 2k. And even that drone is so slight you could clearly have a conversation over it no problem.

I plan on tuning. So the torque is noticeably lower, does the car seem slower because of it? I plan on tuning it, so I will eventually get back that torque. Performance wise how does the car feel until I can get tune?

Yep it's not intrusive or overbearing in the least. I don't get the sense I annoy anyone either.
