I'll sell you mine.
Ditto!

Of course that is IF the UAW will decide to actually build my order in September. :D I AM liking that race red a whole lot more on a base GT from these pics. I guess I've got 2 weeks to change my order before scheduling begins. Or maybe 3Y? Should I rationalize by saying the 2 colors are cop magnets?

Rationalize [rash-uh-nl-ahyz, rash-nl-ahyz]... lying to yourself!

That is all...

I think the reason for the vent turn signal is a car directly to your right or left can see it and know you're trying to get over?
Yes, that's the point. A good thing, in my book.

New Stripes for 2016 GT?

Does anyone have more info or pics of the new factory stripes for the 2016 GT? In the configurator, for the GT, you can select racing stripes in Black, silver, or white. They look like double "Shelby style" stripes, but they look to fade. They start out with a gradient almost like "ghost stripes" at the front of the hood, are solid on the roof, and then fade by the rear fascia. could be cool, although I like the true retro full stripe look as of today.

I don't think both of these hood turn signal lights are meant for us drivers to see, honestly who cares that we can't see the right side, the lights are simply showing other drivers on the road that there is something in our cars that they don't have...Mustang is fun, unique, and different, which is why most of us choose to drive Mustangs. Most of us aren't like the other drivers on the road...which is why I welcome the lights.

Yep. It's part novelty, part nostalgic, and part functional. They come in handy for truck/bus drivers who sit quite a bit higher and can't easily see the side blinkers while driving next to low riding cars.

If you haven't seen this already, here is the discussion.

Yup and I wonder how bright it is at night. You might be able to see the reflection. They shouldn't have wasted the time and money on this feature. Maybe hood struts instead of the prop rods instead?
Come on likaboss, don't you know that this feature was highly requested according to the 4 female marketing members in control of social/web media?

Seriously they said this was a requested feature...somehow an auto with PP like Europe gets wasnt even though tons on here want it.

The heat extractor turn signal thing is tacky IMO. Must have been the "Ground Speed" speedometer guy that got the winning vote on those.

I hope everyone realizes that this stuff is just retro styling. Lots of 60's cars had fender and hood reverse facing turn signals. Also the when Ford designed the interior they used aircraft cockpits as inspiration hence the "Ground Speed" on the speedometer and the toggle switches. After all the Mustang is named after the P-51 fighter.

The hood lights are standard on *all* GTs.

I'll sell you mine.

If I could install them I would take you up on this. I am not good at this stuff.
