You can get the competition as an axleback but the Streets are currently not an option.
Haa!!...that figures! Correct me if I'm wrong but Borla has done the same thing with their Touring axleback right? Not available separately.
I see the Borla Touring axleback is available for the ecoboost however.
Looks like the same config as the GT but probably it would not work on a GT...unless anyone has tried it yet?

Borla Touring is just the s-type mufflers with a resonator.

Ok yes I see it is. Well I took my resonator off already so not interested in putting on a new one.

I have a stock exhaust with an MRT H-Pipe and would like a little more sound but not too loud, for neighbors.
Looks like my only choice right now is FRPP Touring to go along with my H-Pipe because any other axleback with this H-Pipe will probably be too loud.

Unless someone knows of something comparable in volume level to the FRPP Touring. Thanks.

ARH is the way to go, I'm telling you. Rolling up the gears is always s head turner in traffic. At 65 to 75, not annoying one little bit

We've already sold a few kits where our customers already Powdercoated the tips. We'll be offering small powdercoating services for you guys that want stuff like this done. Should be ready around the end of July/ early August.

Let us know if we can help you out!

The fact that there's no drone when driving at highway is great, but one or two people have mentioned some slightly worrisome things about idle or low-RPM noise.

How loud/deep would the exhaust be when just puttering around town at low speeds and low throttle input? I'd like for my exhaust to not be *too* noticeable as long as I'm not on it, but when I'm at the track I definitely want to hear when when my engine is requesting a shift... Or when I'm just having some fun at a stoplight, heh.

Also, one kinda n00bish question -- is there any dyno info on the S-type or ARH? I know a catback won't make much power, but it would be nice to know if it made any... or if it even lost some.

I am liking the Borla S Type Axleback with H Pipe from MRT. It definitely loud when you get on it but a nice deep rumble when driving normally.

Hey Jay, I am no longer on the fence and have decided that as soon as I have the funds in the right places I will be ordering the ARH catback H pipe setup from Hyper Motive. I really want black tips though and am wondering if you ever setup any sort of powdercoating service at all like you mentioned might be available in your post?? Shoot me a PM if you have the chance and let me know what the deal is!! Thanks! :headbang:

your best bet really would be to search out a local powdercoater. that way shipments are getting shipped 2 times, unpacked and repacked.

you should be able to get them done for $50 to $100

that's what we have done with our local installs

I do agree with Beef on this, the more you ship products the more likely they are to get damaged.... especially when it comes to paint and powdercoat.
