Awesome! We hope to earn it! :)
I return cars cleaner than when I got them in. I'm probably the most OCD person you'll ever meet. lol
Good to hear sir. And that is why you have a good track record!
Thank you Travis. Not sure what direction I am going in. I may buy a 2016 GT PP next year, but not positive yet.
(Sorry, didn't mean to hijack this thread.)

question for you, Travis. As depicted, sans the other adds, how do you feel about engine longevity and the possibility of some kind of engine failure to which Ford would be all "Hey, you're on your own with that"?

I didn't even put a Diablosport on my current car until my esp was out. I'd hate to grenade a $12k engine.

I think that with ANY aftermarket modification this radical, you pretty much accept the fact that you're going to void your powertrain warranty.

That being said, we spent 3 months straight with our own test car, and KB spent the almost 5 months with their own test cars to make sure that we got it right.

Based on 5 years of Coyote tuning, we have a good feeling about what we're doing. We've never blown up a single stock engine at these power levels. We run very aggressive knock monitoring, and pull a ton of timing if temps get too hot, or if octane isn't there. We install a separate IAT2 (down stream) sensor to measure temps after the intercooler, just to make sure we're getting accurate info to the PCM in terms of charge air temps.

If you use good fuel, and stay within the guidelines we set, you'll be fine 99% of the time. But, there is always risk, and things can happen.

Thanks for the response. The reason I ask is my brother has an 09 5.7 Challenger with a Whipple done by a big name in Mopar FI and one day on the way to work he put his foot in it and cracked 3 pistons. He was only running 12# of boost. I realize the Coyote and the Hemi aren't the same motor, but still. It's got me kinda on the fence.

And fwiw, that was only putting 540whp out.

I always use good fuel, Mobil 93 octane gas.
When you say, "guidelines you set". Can you elaborate on that? Also, this kit is CARB approved and will pass emissions here in Massachusetts, or no? They're sticklers here for emissions passing.
Thanks for your reply Travis.

I wouldn't jump ship too early, everyone jumped on the Procharger wagon and look how that's turned out...not saying Procharger or KB aren't great products. All I'm saying is you see nothing but praises about whipple and happy customers complaining of loss of traction, vs the daily/weekly issues for PC. Hopefully KB kits won't have this same issue.

We've been building these things for 10 months. They drive prefect.. I mean not a single hiccup. I've single handedly worked with Lund and KB to get this kit perfect.

On top of that, we make 650/540 to the tire on a hot day, right out of the box.

You won't find a single complaint about KB or our packages baaed on KB's system.

Any and all supercharger kits must use the mfg calibration and kit to be CARB legal. "Tuner" kits from anyone is currently not legal. Doesn't matter what brand SC. Mass is a "green" state so you need to be diligent in what you modify.

I really do hope it stays that way man! I in no way meant to come off as bashing in any way. You guys are awesome and so are the products you're building.
