If that pic of the old man is you like you said, you got some serious photoshop skills. :hail:I would like to see the original.
I am actually in superior physical shape from all the body rebuilding. 21.7 BMI and 8% BF. I am down now and won't get back to rebuilding till after Christmas.

Whatever I need
I watched this race on FS1 and again on the IMSA site. Its too bad the Maxwell/Johnson car got punted for taking its position after a clean pass and without penalty from the car in question. A judgement call of course...

If the GT350R-C's can maintain its speed advantage after the nominal 50 lbs weight increase ruling, they should make things interesting for the remaining races. I can't wait to see them in person at RA on August 8!

If Ford and Multimatic want great heritage for the GT350, they need to let it earn it. I don't want to see Ford pull teams off because they want to protect the new cars status. F@ck it.... Cherry's broke, flip that Mustang if you can't win in it. There's 10,000,000 more out there.

No love lost for me... That's the Boss, oh well... Earn your spot or die trying.

Rule #1 of Mustang Ownership: Your Mustang is ALWAYS the best Mustang. That's racing and proves not only are the drivers and cars great, the team is fantastic on the rebuild.

Most people don't know this but...

Did you know the original 1967 z28 didn't do well in Trans Am?

The 1965-'66 GT350 dominated the 1967 z28. 4 wins and a Title, the GT350 was the reason the z28 was made. Not the Boss...

Eventually, Chevy outsourced the Camaro (no change there) and had rules change to make them more competitive (same as today).

I'm curious - and will probably regret asking - but how, exactly, is GM's use of Pratt & Miller for the Z/28 race car worse than Ford using Multimatic for the GT350 (and the next GT production)? Ford Racing has worked extensively with Multimatic for years for their various race car development and production. And GM is evil for doing likewise?

Chevy isn't involved with the Pratt-Miller process at all. It doesn't come out of their pocket, it's none of their Research and development. Pratt/Miller sanctions the car more or less. You cannot buy a Z/28.R from Chevy...

Ford employs Multimatic (for several things) and uses the Team to make real changes to the product. The race teams direct input is valued above all others and is actually quite thoroughbred. The changes made to the car usually don't cater to the mass populous. Ford takes Multimatic's findings and attempts to homologate the model to the public with little or no changes...

Pratt took the Camaro z28 and Frankensteined it together with little or no GM involvement. The Boss tried to reinstate this mindset in 2010 but it was destroyed because the kids like Transformers and its kool to see Bumblebee racing...

I can't really blame them, if kids don't watch, racing will not survive...

If Nintendo made a car right now, guess what, it would be out there racing...

...and probably whoopin' some ass...

Here they go... The Alpha was not designed for the LS engines, just do the work and spend the money.

Emissions could be an issue, the Voodoo was difficult.

"The z28 is sooooooo popular".

Why can't they sell them???

I can give you 76,000 rea$ons. I like the look of the Z/28 and the power curve of the LS7 but too pricy. Ford did awesome with the pricing of the GT350. Now getting a GT350 for MSRP may take some effort/time.

Rumor has it that the new Z/28 coming out will be a lot cheaper.

I looked at a 2015 Z/28 the other day that had a $20,000 dealer markup so asking price was $96K. A dealer in Cal has a 500 mile used 2015 Z/28 for $56K.

For the 76k, wouldn't it be just better to get a Vette from the price standpoint? I think that what chevy has done with pricing is little ridiculous, making a Camaro cost more than it's prominent sports car that has the same engine, and looks better.
