"Results speak volumes"

Yes, these results speak to the skill of tech's and engineers, not necessarily the parts.
So, are you saying that no one else, with a nearly unlimited budget and different parts, can't equal or beat this record? Not that many will because few have the resources or inclination to do so.
You can buy whatever you want, but I'm not going to buy part "A", just because it performed well when used by a talented team of auto specialists AND in conjunction with 1000's of $$ of other parts. Doesn't make the one part the best.
Not sure exactly what you are asking. With unlimited money and "different parts" you can run 3's in 1000ft from a stand still. Of course this record will be beaten. The motor and trans are familiar and there are dozens of tuners building or running high HP S550's. If you don't want to buy part A, than thats great, and probably wise. Spending a bunch of money to make a car less reliable and void your warranty ain't for everyone. And its gonna take some skilled "auto specialist" no matter who made the parts. A poorly assembled motor or bad tune is gonna make a motor come undone in short order no matter who made the parts or what they made them out of.

Its really simple. Either you wanna mod a car or you don't. And if you mod the car, either you wanna buy the parts from someone else, or you wanna make em yourself. Those are the only options. So if you feel there are better parts than get em. If you think you can make the parts better yourself than great. Get to work and get your share of the market.

First off, congrats to Team Beefcake on running some awesome times! That car is really moving.

Second. What's with all the "Haterade"? Seriously. We've all seen vendors or companies push their products with numbers from the dyno...CAI's, exhausts, headers, blowers, etc. Hardly any of them have put it to use on the track with real data!

If I buy a part, such as a supercharger, that advertises a crap-load of horsepower...I want to know what it actually does when put to use. I think we should be thankful some companies actually do this.

My 0.02...

Transmission is going strong with our Exedy clutch pack upgrade and our DSS axles are holding strong!!
Congrats on the progress. What type of upgrade is this btw? I was thinking this is an auto...

Thanks for any insight.

A great pass Terry, congrats. I understand you "sell what you run" as you're a vendor and I'm good with this...a mid 9 second pass is nothing to scoff at what so ever.
Do you (or will you) at some point actually run this car in local competitive (bracket type) drag racing?

This is a very odd statement.

You are not going to buy part A because it has been proven to perform (even if it did work in conjunction with other parts to get there)?

Instead what? You'll buy Part B?

Unless of course Part B has also been proven to perform well? In which case, I guess you'll go with part C. Because part C, while it may or may not be as good as parts A and B, has not proven itself, so that must be the part to go with?

Congratulations Beefcake

I want to thank Team Beefcake for hooking me up with minimal mods to produce 11 sec. mph and be able to drive from FL and get 29 mpg at 70+mph. Very soon these simple mods on a N/A 2015 GT will be hitting the 11's. My biggest decision will be on a roll bar. All with just 4 items...JLTcold air, Lund Tune, MBRP cat back Street and a pair of Mickeys.
Oh and congratulations on setting the record for the fastest 2015 GT. FORD Racing & OE benefit from your research and development....from people like you we all benefit, whether it's a 9 sec. car or a Ford Fusion lessons learned get applied across the board.

Big props to Beef cake and Lund tuning. Huge accomplishment with a fully equipped car. To me, this is as close to a realistic scenario that is achievable by the average Joe as we'll likely see. Costs and affordability is all relative.

LOL, what?

I think the whole point behind the post was to demonstrate that ANYONE can achieve these results with Beefcake, that 9s on a lightly modified 4000lb vehicle is extremely impressive, and that Beefcake is dedicated to the vehicle, its performance, and you as a potential customer. They have found a combination of parts that work well together and perform where it counts (the dyno is nice and all but the ET doesnt lie).

Be sure to run right out and buy part "B" that hasnt demonstrated anything and was installed by a hack.

Great work on the car, guys. Truly impressive numbers in such a short period of time.
