Resetting the 2015 Mustang ET REcord!

New 2015 Mustang ET Record!! We had another great weekend at NMRA Norwalk! The previous record for the 15+ IRS record was ours set last month at MIR with great air close to sea level DA with a 9.73@142!

This weekend in over 3000ft d/a and extremely hot, we were able to knock down a 9.59@145mph on 17's!!! 1.47 60'!! Not too shabby.
Our Vortech Billet JT trim supercharger is doing work in our 3935lb IRS Equipped car.

Shout out to Lund Racing for the quickest tunes on the planet, as always!

My crew chief / dyno partner Brian Campbell of Finish Line Performance for working last minute to get the suspension dialed in.

Suspension was really working good, people were worried about the IRS, and we knocked down 1.4 60's all weekend, foot braking the car!! A great combo of parts from BMR, Watson, Viking and Strange!

Transmission is going strong with our Exedy clutch pack upgrade and our DSS axles are holding strong!!

Got a couple changes to make and get some good air, and I think we will get our 8 second pass!!

Lots of places are busy posting dyno numbers, talking about big # packages, etc.. None of that matters if you can't back it up with a timeslip!!!!

Not sure I understand the big deal. One can throw unlimited monies at almost any car and get great numbers.
What I would like to see is a budget that most people could afford, and be drivable to work in the rain every day too.

the car gets driven to work everyday.

There isn't "unlimited monies" thrown at the car. Same blower kit we offer to our customers, actually same kit a member here just purchased.

Do some suspension, and make it work.

It's a premium package car weighing in about 4000lbs with driver, back up camera, power seats, heated seats,etc....

Totally agree. Would be nice to have something that could actually passes emissions too so it could be driven on the street, gets good numbers on street legal tires, and doesn't need to run on race gas.

Depends on where you live, everywhere is different. Your build will always be limited by the components you choose.

We can build a car for you any way that you want. We run e85, $2.09 from the pump 4 minutes from my house. No race gas needed.

Street legal tires aren't an issue either, the new mickey 17's should be out any week, and we expect to actually go quicker on those than we go now.

it's putting the right parts and knowing how to make them work, knowing how to make the suspension work. etc..

on the 11-14's, 10's are easy. with the stronger engine, hoping to see a lot more 9 second customer cars.

we do our own labor. just like many forum members here do their own labor.

As far as irs work, we have the same bolt on components from bmr that is available to everyone here, that we have sold to dozens upon dozens of people here.

If you don't want to buy bushings, or toe rods, etc... that's your choice, but these cars are no different than any other year mustang.

in reality, suspension components are cheaper here than any other car.

and for the record, we went 1.5's on the bone stock irs

if you don't want to mod your car, that's up to you. but you are in the minority on a forum like this. our business is selling parts and installing parts for the everyday guy, and we are extremely busy doing just that.

Well all want to mod our car. That isn't my point of course. I have no doubt you sell blowers to people. I'm sure you make great parts. My original comment still stands. It's not about any one part my friend, or any one car.

Imho what you are doing here is promotion and sales. Ok, nothing wrong with that, but honest about it. Having the fastest mustang (regardless of how much you spent), is an investment that lends additional perceived credibility to your company. Even your logo "HOME OF THE QUICKEST 2015 MUSTANG GT ON THE PLANET!!!!!!", is designed to sell product. Ok I get it. Very good.
