Just had the FRPP Sport installed, and I was wondering if there is a break-in period during which I should go easy on the throttle.

No you're not going to hurt it going full out. The sound will change though over the next 1000 miles or so

In what way does the sound change over time?
The tone will usually change to some degree, and depending on the exhaust type there will be less drone over time-not more. At least with having the Borla CBE that has been my experience and Borla's really have little to no drone anyway.

If anything it may sound deeper after a thousand miles. I've heard a few people say that after they got catbacks.

The sound will change if its a packed exhaust, if it's chambered it stays the same.

There is typically no break-in period for an exhaust, but with that being said, I managed to blow the driver-side resonator loose on my Gibson. I only have about 2000 miles on it and it sound like a loose heat shield rattling around by the muffler. Gibson is warrantying it and I will have the new exhaust on this weekend!

Only time you need to go easy on the throttle is when the engine is cold, or when there is a baby in the car.
Or the cops are following you. ;) That was my experience this morning on the way to work. I had to be a good boy.
