Retail orders haven't even been scheduled yet, and stock orders are so I don't think what you are saying is correct.
Well that is what was told to me. Anyone have any proof of stock orders being scheduled? I hear people talking about getting VINs but no proof. Ford Service told me no VINs have been given out yet.

Someone posted where the dealership put in identical orders, one as stock one as retail and the stock order has a build date and nothing for the retail.

I am worried I will be waiting even longer than I expect... And I expect a long wait. I am priority 10.

Yeah I read that, but no VIN posted or anything? Heck, I could post I have a build date but doesn't mean it is true.

Ordered placed 6/27/2015 (priority 10) V6 Guard 051A spoiler delete

X-plan is listed as $160 over invoice, so should be a good deal. Just hope that there are nice incentive available when the car is delivered.

Now the long wait begins, dealer wasn't sure on delivery date gave a WAG of mid to late October

Retail orders are before stock orders. You have the same priority as I do. Our orders will be before any stock orders.

If you have a priority of 10-19, you have a retail order. (If you look at your order type on your order confirmation/DORA, it will be 1)

If you have a priority of 20-99, you have a stock order. (Your order type will be 2)

Retail orders will be done before stock orders.

I was told by Deysha at FordService that retail orders will not be scheduled until the end of next month or so.

Dealer put in both for me (11 or 12 and 20 for priority), neither shows in COTUS yet. Haven't sent info into to fordservice yet, either. Not in a huge rush, but I'll take whichever is first.

Well Deysha just informed me that my order is shown as "stock", but my order confirmation shows a priority 11. Guess I won't have mine scheduled for awhile, disappointed.

I was told priority 10-19 are retail priority and 20-99 are stock priority.

Edit: called the 1-800 number and my information is correct. Is a retail order and priority 11. Deysha may have been mistaken with information.

You would think it would be the other way around. The custom ordered cars are for sure sales. It would make more sense to get those knocked out first before moving on to lot inventory.

My car is a priority 11 retail order. So it looks like I got a lot more waiting to do. Just gives me more time to stock pile parts I guess.
It’s always a small amount of “stock” orders that build first, XDsm. Then it kicks over to “retail.”

I ordered mine back in May. My order showed as a F250 on COTUS but now it shows as nothing. I've had a lot of trouble getting any information from my dealer and my first salesman has left the dealership (I think he was fired). Hopefully it will get here someday haha.

Ah I misread that and apologize. Another question, I thought retail orders had a higher priority than stock orders according to what I was told by a dealer (not the one I purchased through) and a rep at the 1-800 number.

Is that incorrect?

It should be on the order confirmation when it was submitted. Shouldn't have to wait for that.

Not long after placing the order, Zemedici. PM me with some of the options you selected, your dealer’s name, and the date you placed the order. I’ll see if I can find it for you.

It’s no problem, StangMan04. The excitement is overwhelming sometimes. ;) “Retail” orders do take priority over “stock” ones. However, there is always a small percent of “stock” ones who hit production first.
