It was 3:50 am, raining pretty hard outside, I come to a stop at a red light and someone in an SUV slides and hits my car because he doesn't know to pump his brakes to stop the wheels from locking up.

This is the damage, they refused to give me their insurance, but I got a picture of their driver's license, their phone number, and information to the body shop they work at, so I will see about them repairing it, if not I will request their information, should they refuse to give it, I will report them as a hit and run maybe.

That sucks but you should have reported it as soon as it happened.

I feel your pain. My Cobra was rear ended 5 minutes after buying it. I could still see the dealership.

I'm probably not going to report it, even if they refuse to pay. It will count as an accident, and I don't want that on the car fax if I can avoid it. It will bring down the price of the car in the future if I ever want to sell it.

Unfortunately that true.

I feel your pain. I had an old Mercury Sable hit me Friday. Sucks. Dumb bitch could have cared less and tried to blame me for hitting her. Then had enough nerve to say she didn't do any damage to my car despite the hole punched in my bumper from her license plate bolt!

Looks like attempted murder to me, 1-800-lawyer time. Too many people now don't care about anything on the road but themselves between phones and treating a vehicle like a rolling living room

Sorry about your car bring hit, I would have been pretty pissed off when they refused to give up their insurance info, definitely would have gotten the cops involved.

It still amazes me how many people don't call the police immediately and have a report done at the scene..no matter how small the crash.
I was a traffic cop for twenty years. Trust me...if you don't get a report, at the time and place it happened, you're f'ing yourself every time. Don't bother calling them two days later....they will laugh.

If they even have insurance. I do agree that calling the cops may have been a good idea, I doubt the person is going to own up to it.

Sucks. If you didn't have bad luck you'd have no luck at all.

Are you sure that a police report will cause a car fax incident? I thought that only came from dealers and certain body shops? And I thought it was only over a certain dollar value....
If you have their plate number you can find out their insurance, if they have any!
Good luck
