GT350R Mustang to be driven by Ben Collins at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Ben Collins said earlier today that the GT350 would not be running for time, but he will go up the hill two more times tomorrow - 10:55 and 17:15 Goodwood Time. The car runs at the same time as the Supercars, but in the exhibition class for new cars, called First Glance.

It's in the Super Car class. Also if you miss it on the way up, wait for the cars to come back down. You get a better view of them.

Having said all this, I hope you prove me wrong tomorrow!

It will still go up the Hill, just that it won't be timed and he can't thrash it. But I haven't seen his latest interview...

UPDATE: The final schedule shows the Supercars + First Glance group running at 10:55 Goodwood Time/5:55 a.m. Eastern Time and 17:15/12:15 p.m.

Not the GT350, but to anyone who wanted to see the Focus RS perform its run. Sounds great and looks planted just like the GT350!

Unfortunately the GT350 before it, drowns out the sound of the RS. I really wanted to hear it, see how they tuned the RS's note.

I just recently put the RS on my short list. 400ft-lbs of reliable torque is doable, and a slightly modded RS is going own nearly everything on the streets. So it has to be given respect & consideration. (I just can't get past that spoiler)

Not a problem! And I agree with you on it destroying nearly everything on the street after mods. I nicknamed the RS the "Subaru and Evo killer."

Sorry friend, as it was 1/2 past 2 in the morning, I couldn't be bothered re writing all the stuff from youtube again. ALSO, it was a live feed that I didn't know how to move across (his comments), to this esteemed site. My comments are on the 1.21 minute youtube video of the GT350R, at the FoS, as ARKHSM FORD !!

Sweet, but would have liked the helmet go pro view the whole run, as it shows what a radical amount of speed, for such a NARROW ribbon of tarmac !!
