A person with a personality disorder manifesting itself in extreme antisocial attitudes and behavior and a lack of conscience.

Of course, with everything there are grays - all is not black and white. I would think of a sociopath as someone who would murder others or torture small animals for fun.

However, the tendency to not realize, notice or care what others think is a step toward a real antisocial attitude.

The other flowery stuff you wrote about getting along with people or being a cult of personality has nothing to do with being a sociopath.
And because Cruzin wants to buy 2 GT350's he's a sociopath? come on !!:headbonk::lol:

1. I didn't call anyone a sociopath. I think that would be rude. :) Funny, but rude.

2. No, WANTING to buy 2 doesn't make someone somewhat antisocial. POSTING online that you are going to do it as the first few cars get released to an audience of a bunch of people who really want those cars but not realizing that people would be irritated by your post COULD mean you don't think or care about others. More likely in Cruzin's case he just didn't think first. I'm sure he's nowhere near a sociopath. He probably has plenty of friends and there are lots of people he cares about.

The thing is - it was just a joke. I know I get literal, but really?!

Where's the joke? If I have that scratch to drop on something I find at a fair price and There are more than one person out there with good morals to sell the product at a fair price. Why not? I do have 3 teenagers who are just as enthusiastic as I am about cars. And pre teen twins who are also into cars. Maybe I'm getting two so I have a daily driver and a weekend warrior? Why would anyone care except to say good for you?

Maybe I'm so tired of all the dealers that take advantage of us and see us as opportunity to rob us that I want to get a fair and honest deal when I can get it. If I buy one Viper, or a Z06 or a 911 then I'm in the same boat as buying 2 GT350's. I did mention on a thread somewhere I would like to have 3 if I could..... A tech, a track and an "R".

So call me a sociopath? Or call the post a joke? If it makes you sleep better at night then great.

I'd be happy to get one. Just one at a fair price. No ADM. If I can get 2 it's not like I'm going to flip it and ask Hack or any dealers to buy it off me for 20k over MSRP. Although it would certainly be my right to do so ....If I actually own it right? I mean I'm not going to have a loan on it....it should be paid in full and all mine free and clear. I can literally sell it for whatever I want since it's really mine. Not like what most dealers are gonna do to us by asking for a pot of gold in exchange for something they don't really own. That's like selling you the Golden Gate bridge

Instead, I'm going to keep it. Drive it and if things pan out.... The other one too. Maybe track them both with my oldest son or daughter nipping at my heals in one.

Whatever I do. It was never meant to piss any of you off. It was meant for me and mine to experience the joy that comes from it. So the real joke is.... how a few who are so pro ADM and free market and capitalism are flipping out over when capitalism works in favor of the consumer instead of the vultures calling them selves a dealer.

Yep I said it.

If you have the scratch and a dealer committed to a two car deal...more power to you and congratulations. You were just sharing your good fortune. Who cares what anyone has to say about it. For those that have any negative comments, jealous much...

If you've got the money, great. If you're going to keep them, great. If you're going to flip one for big money when they launch and demand is high, great. I have no issues with any of that at all, it's your life and you can do what you want.

However, Donson did the work to find these and graciously let everyone know to try to get a few more people, myself included, fair deals on the car so we could potentially have them sooner, rather than later. Therefore, I feel his wishes should be considered and respected.

If he's fine with it, then I am too. If not, you're still free to do what you want, it just means you're being an asshole and a greedy one at that.

Just my $ .02

You repeatedly state that the dealer(s) don't own their vehicles. Maybe not all manufactures don't operate the same way, but do you know for a fact that this is true? Is this just an assumption? I'd like to know how you got your information. Thanks

I've purchased two cars before from a single dealership. Its not new for me. This is two cars from two different sources. Which would be different.

As for your quote..

Well. Then... I found one GT350 here on these forums. Where Donson shared the news with us. I simply proceeded as he asked. Respectful of him. And fortunate to have read his post right after he made it.

So?

Your problem is???

Dealers unless they outright purchase their inventory are provided their inventory on a consignment. Selling their inventory sooner than later nets them the highest margins. Sitting on it costs them. Someone else owns the inventory, they are just responsible for selling it and maintaining some insurance on it while its waiting to be sold, so its a financial drain to have it sitting for months. Usually they are supplied based on what they commit to being able to move for the manufacturer within a fiscal year . The more volume they commit to the less per unit costs they potentially pay. Provided they actually move all their inventory(this is why professional Buyers...purchase in volume). Otherwise the whole model is based off of projections and educated risks.

Or they can raise the prices with an extreme ADM on a few cars to make up for all the rest they are losing money on. Etc etc etc.

If Donson is cool with it, so am I as I said. I can't speak to his intensions. I have no problem with you, even if you get one from this dealer and I don't. I'll just have to work on being faster with my emails.

Well, If I get the opportunity for the second one and you still don't have a lead....PM me.
Will do, it's a little harder for me to search one out right now being overseas...Donson was going to possibly hook me up, but I really appreciate the help from everyone!

I never said I condone the practice. And they certainly don't lose money. They cry that they do. Maybe on one sale out of hundreds.

My badge will never be given up.

I know.

BTW.... If any of you who are pro ADM want one.... after I get them you can make an offer.

I would expect at least 15% more than the highest confirmed ADM and all the overhead over the MSRP will go to a verified charity of your choice.

Now that's something you'll never get from a dealer. And I'll hand you the receipt for your charitable donation so you can claim it in your tax returns.

Then you'll have something tangible in return for that extra instead of a depreciating value on a car.

Take from the greedy and give it to the needy.
