Why spoiler delete?

Haha, seriously this has been posted at least 500 times. Like everything it boils down to YOUR preference. Nothing more, nothing less. There is no super duper down force with it.

Post wasnt meant in a bad way and no need to search. Exterior mods are all PERSONAL preference. I don't like it on the 550. Looks and not a fan of non functional stuff tacked on. Doesn't mean you liking it is bad. Each his own. It's like saying Black is a better color then Red. No right or wrong, just what you like. All these posts do is start a 4 page pissing match over nothing, because seems most here can't have a different opinion then theirs on anything.

I purposely bought a stripped down performance package base model specifically so I didnt have to haul around a bunch or crap from the factory I didnt need to. what makes op think I want to haul around a giant piece of pvc plastic that hangs out over the rear axle...

Spoiler vs no spoiler thread!

If you really want opinions, I think the car looks better without one. Also, I think most people would delete it off to save weight since weight is the only important thing when it comes to performance.

All joking aside, the only spoiler I would ever want is the GT350R one.

I looked at a few of the 2015 models with a spoiler. One had factory plastic in the gap between the spoiler and the body. Another had dirt in there. If I had gotten the car I ordered (long story), I would have done the spoiler delete for the sole purpose of not having a place for dirt to collect, a gap to clean up wax around, etc.

I'll probably switch the rear emblem to a pony too. I'm not sure on keeping the side 5.0 badges. Maybe get some black ones or a full debadge? I'm thinking of dipping the wheels black, so maybe do the side emblems at the same time. :shrug:

UK GT version comes as standard with spoiler delete, so I guess there's a lot lying around Ford, going cheap!
