My number came up on the waiting list... but ADM

I got a call today from a local (to Seattle) reputable dealer. He said they still have allocations left when they got to my name on the list.

Unfortunately, they want $17,500 over MSRP. I asked them to give me a call back when it reaches MSRP.

I may have to wait a while, but I'm not going to pay over retail. I'll have to live with my 600hp Dodge Magnum SRT8 for a little while longer. :-)

Tell them to kiss your ass. Never do business with them again, and make sure friends and family know this. There are dealers out there who are not greedy, and treat their customers like they should instead of jumping on any chance they can to gouge someone for a car. Be patient... I promise, you will get one at MSRP or cheaper.

when I can get a Base GT350 with track package at MSRP or below is when I will get one. ADM can kiss my rear end.

This dealer says that other are charging $20k over.

I'm guessing the ADM is why he got as far down the list as my spot. :-)

I'll be patient. I could get another motorcycle for that markup!

Agreed, just politely ask them to give you a call when they are ready to take your deposit and sign the papers for a MSRP deal.

17k is cheap compared to the 50-100k some dealers asked out here

The dealer would have burned that bridge with me when he insulted me with an ADM.

Yep, happy to travel out of state. We did that for a Porsche Macan Turbo (but then ended up trading it in on an Audi Q5... wasn't worth the premium).
