Not in person yet... just saw Audi's SG in photos. It's on the same spectrum based on photos so could be similar as well. I have no interest in an Audi at the moment but the RS5 would be a nice powerful ride!
I guess it's hard to tell in photos but maybe the Audi's has less reflective gloss...

I saw one in person (RS5), I would say its the same clear coat as any other color. But indeed a subdued color. I might have to head to the audi dealer again and see if I can see one at night, I ordered white but am still wondering if I should change it to this gray

Naaah I don't buy that excuse. Those highline manufacturers all have different formulations. And even back in the day, the US domestics (GM, Ford, Chrysler, etc.) had pastel-like color formulations for some of their cars produced in the 1950's-1970's.

While this car is certainly unique i ve had several monotone colors in the past so I don't think I could live with another one. I'm heavily considering DIB despite my user name. I've been wanting a blue car.

AG is growing on me with the black roof and stripes. I'm fairly certain that's how I'll go if I can land one.

I thought that Sonic was too purple. Kona is too dark and has purple in it as well. DIB is the best of the three imo but looks like it has purple in it as well. My heart was really set on Liquid Blue as it looks close to Guardsmen blue, or the Acapulco Blue on the '69 B302, or even the Fathom Blue of old GM muscle:

Just ordered a track pack in this color for a customer. I actually showed him the thread and it sold them on it. I think it's going to look great, he just hasn't decided if he wants red or black stripes.

there are some really good pictures over on the other forum..man..really making me rack my brain. White+blue...av gray+blue. I know I can never go wrong wit the white/blue...but gray/blue would be quite unique.
