I bought my 2012 from them, called and left a voicemail with the sales manager who I delt with and he never called back. With all the la celebrities and their media presence I assumed all were gone or huge adm, I could be wrong.

Anyone in the Missouri area? Found another dealer there. Also might be willing to ship the cars
Yea, I got a few responses from them early on and then the silent treatment as well. If they are going off of a list, I should be pretty early on it.

Any Rs in Missouri?

As soon as ford announced the g350 was for real I called Galpin and got on the list as #1. Since they had nobody else at that time. Within weeks they want a non refundable deposit of 5k and they had no idea when the cars would be built or any pricing. Thank god for this forum the guys get the info so fast and the rest of us can be well informed. Last I heard they want to charge 10-20k ADM!!!!! Good luck salespeople there know they are the biggest volume dealer and they know there gonna get there allocation and will take advantage of that.

I can't find one now without more then 20K mark up. I will wait and find what I want one day for the price I want. If that's 2028 so be it. I will enjoy my GTPP as I'm nut sure I have the nuts to drive it 100% at the track anyways.

When I read on here that they were taking deposits, I contacted them and they stated that they weren't.

I am glad to see that people are still able to get MSRP deals. Hopefully enough people are turning down the ADMs that dealers will start to thing twice about charging them.
Highly unlikely, at least the 2016s. For every person who turned down ADM on this forum there are 5 people in the general public who will pay an ADM for the car who have the money to blow and simply dont care, or expected an ADM out of the gate.

To someone who really really wants the car $5k extra isn't a big pill to swallow since the car is already very reasonably priced for what it is.

I don't think saying that if you aren't willing to pay $5k ADM then you really really don't want the car is a fair statement.

Dealer I spoke to yesterday has an allocation for 6 2016 GT350's. 5 900's and one 920. I did confirm that allocations are different for R and non-R trims, so I recant my statement about how the allocations were made available to buyers.

No what I'm saying is for every 1 person on this small forum there are 5 out there in the country who will very willingly pay a $5k ADM to get one year 1. People quickly/easily forget the number of people in this forum pales in comparison to Mustang buyers out there as a whole. There are only 9,220 members here- they sell more Msutangs per month than members here.

I think the people holding out for MSRP will be waiting until 2017. The statement that dealers will come down on price because people here are refusing ADMs is probably false; or at least bad logic. People said the same thing about the Hellcat- "oh dealerships are crazy selling them for $10k ADM, good luck" They had to cut off orders because of the number of orders- and they accepted 9000 orders for $65k+ cars, more than the 5000 GT350s being produced that start cheaper.

High demand and low allocation = ADMs and people willing to pay to get one.

PM sent, do you know if their 920 allocation is spoken for?

Replied. Note though, if you were looking to make an MSRP deal, that's very unlikely at this particular location. They are always fair on their pricing, but that does not mean they won't examine the market an adjust the price accordingly. Again, it's a business whose mission is to make a profit, not a public service organization.

MSRP deals are out there. I found 3 with 10 minutes of emailing. 1 went to myself, and I passed the other 2 on to forum members.

Dealers are making a fair profit at MSRP.

No doubt, I've seen the dealer price with holdback. However, car dealers are in business to make a profit and, like most businesses, if a particular product is in demand, it usually commands a premium price. You, the buyer are able to take the asking price or leave it, but it does not make the dealer asking an ADM dishonest or a pariah. IMHO, of course.

Agreed but again, the ones selling at MSRP are making a fair profit and are not providing a public service which suggests that they are not.
