Lucky, I asked him for that lead as well. Guess I'm back on the hunt. Every dealer around me is either clueless, sold out, or charging at least $5k over. I've contacted 63 dealerships so far.
I thought enzo101 said there was still availability at the dealership where he got his GT350, some Tennessee shop.

If anyone has a lead on one I'd love to hear about it.

I am glad to see that people are still able to get MSRP deals. Hopefully enough people are turning down the ADMs that dealers will start to thing twice about charging them. We have to remember that the GT500's will return in the not so distant future. I wonder how many GT350 owners will changeover when it comes out. The GT500 is not for me personally.

I'm glad you and Patio208 were able to secure allocations...I should ask that dealer for a commission! My final stab at finding myself an allocation at MSRP was quite simple. I went to Ford.com and went down their dealer list that were within 50 miles of me. I used the link to their websites. I used the websites to see if the dealer had any Mustangs in stock. If they did, I sent an email stating that I was looking for a 2016 GT350 at MSRP. I only sent emails to dealers that were located in smaller cities and towns. I'm sure this could work in most other states....it sure worked in eastern Iowa and western Illinois (within 50 miles of Davenport, Iowa)! Good luck...they are still out there! My Magnetic with black stripes and track pack GT350 will be here this fall!

Hello All. I was just able to secure my order@MSRP, to be shipped to my home state of CA, but it was not without help. I would like to send a big thanks to these 2 members and pass on some potential allocations

IA350-He had found 2 dealers at MSRP in Iowa, passed on the 2nd dealer's info to me. They are claiming they are waiting for a potential buyer to decide on the car (that was a week ago), but after talking to them earlier this week I don't think they wanted to sell me the car in CA. So as a long shot, if you are in Iowa or a closer state, I can give you the info.

jlwdvm-he too found 2 dealers selling @MSRP. He picked his up, I placed my order today. The dealer I placed the order with today said they have a 2nd allocation and will sell at MSRP. They are in IL and have no issues shipping out of state.

Also, if you are in CA and don't mind some ADM, I found one dealer only asking 5k over (non-R). But im guessing if you are closer to them and can go in person to haggle, you might score a better deal.

PLEASE PM IF YOU WOULD LIKE THE DEALER INFO FOR ANY OF THE ABOVE.

Congrats everyone. I'm hopeful the dealer I'm going to see Tuesday is willing to go MSRP. Fingers crossed

I basically bought the GT350 for the motor, so I don't see it going anywhere, any time soon

jlwdvm-Thanks again! I did the same, except I was calling dealers in every corner of CA. Some of the highest markups were actually dealers outside of the metro areas. 5k was the lowest, 100k was the highest, which everything from 20-75k in between.

I, too, have been in the higher-up loop and in fact have heard from a very reliable source that the R model will follow the same volume plan as the 2012/13 LS302s.

As for the allocation system, either some very high profile Ford dealerships are lying about not knowing their allocation status or they are hoarding cars for their own privy. I have asked around the southeastern region and a few big dealers are mum.

I do know for a fact that all 2015's have been said for... All of them.
Just the Rs or all GT350s?

Just the R code cars will be limited.
I'm working on how many 350's will be built.

I'm wondering if I'm able to put my order Tuesday for a non R if it will be a 2015 or '16

You don’t want to know
Ford's executives, Ford's suppliers, Ford's race teams, Ford's best friends, Ford's largest dealers ... and Carroll Shelby International. ;)

Word on the Ford street is 5000 350's, 500-750 R's. The 15's are a special lot and a bunch of them went handpicked to certain buyers.

I bought my 2012 from them, called and left a voicemail with the sales manager who I delt with and he never called back. With all the la celebrities and their media presence I assumed all were gone or huge adm, I could be wrong.

Anyone in the Missouri area? Found another dealer there. Also might be willing to ship the cars
