7 Speaker Stereo - The new Premier Trim

The 7 Speaker Stereo option tied to Sync 3 that comes as part of the Tech or Electronics pack is about a vague as you can get description wise. Just like the vague Premier Trim package description back when the 15 info came out.

The current 15/16 Mustang come with the following options:
6 Speaker Stereo
9 Speaker Shaker
12 Speaker Shaker Pro

Is the seven speaker system just the base system with a sub?
Is it the base system with an extra speaker somewhere else?
Is it a completely new low weight system developed specifically for the GT350?

I'm leaning towards the Tech package since my GT350 could see daily driver duty.

Interesting since it's called out as just a seven speaker system in the order guide. I would be surprised if they developed a separate system just for the GT350. I figured at the very least it would be just the 9 speaker Shaker but your order is showing 12.

The .12 speaker system shows up on mine too...buy again I am Canadian. It doesn't show up on US orders or DORAs.

I am guessing that the .12 doesn't refer to "12" speakers...it simply abbreviates the "912" order code for the special GT350 configuration.

That would be my guess. :shrug:

".12 Speaker Sys?" 12/100ths of a speaker? That would be really small! :lol: Maybe Ford thinks you should be listening to the music of the engine at 8,250...

In the U.S., I'm guessing the 7th speaker is a small subwoofer under the front passenger seat or in the trunk. I have to confess that when I ordered my GT350, I didn't even ask about the audio system.

I don't think it is a subwoofer. It is probably a center channel speaker.

ya Canada, just got my DORA today, still says 12 speakers

for 84000+ CAD on the road(non-R tech pack OTT), I hope they give me 12 speakers.

Where are you guys getting this from. I ordered an Shelby GT350 with the tech package but it says nothing about speakers. Just 67T SYNC3 dual ac etc.... where do you guys see the 12 speakers on your Dora??? Are the Canadian DORAs different?

I suspect whatever the oem system, that changing out some components would greatly improve the experience. That assumes you can stand hearing the stereo over that OUT-FREAKIN-STANDING exhaust note!
