I'm guessing I'm going with the magnetic metallic. Dealer is having a hard time finding a base 5.0 for me

Not a huge fan of either, if I had to pick I'd go metallic. Ruby red is by far my favorite, may be close to both worlds, lol.

I would have liked Dark Highland Green or Lava Red or Mystichrome, but...

I'd go with the magnetic on this choice. I think my preferred colors go Guard > Ruby red > Magnetic > black. I don't like the race red at all. But I usually dislike bright colors.

How much should I be paying on a 2015 5.0 base model manual?

Tough choice, I would swing by a dealer and look at them in person. There are not too many base mustangs in Florida at least, almost all I had seen when I was buying on was a premium, I had to order mine (was going to anyways option wise).

Nice username by the way :D
