Different springs front and rear

I went with pro-kit but I still think the car is too high in the front. I think I'm going to order some sportlines but install them in the front only. From what I've read the sportlines are 1.5-2 inch drop. Would be perfect with the prokit rears of 1 inch drop. Either that or I'm leaving the prokits in the front only and I'll put back the oems in the rear.

Ideas?

Hey DJ,

I see where your mind is at and I like the idea! You will have no problem running these springs together and I have done it personally when I needed to fit a beefy tire in the back of my previous 12'!

Your car will look great and handle fine.

Unfortunately we only sell springs in sets of 4! I always recommend selling the other two springs to even out, or shoot the manufacturer a call and see if they'll sell you just the two! Sorry about that man but if you're looking to pick something up, make sure to PM me for the discount code

I'm having the same dilema...just installed the new ecoboost eibach pro's with a 1" drop rear and 1.1" drop front. Sure the car rides fine and comfortable just like stock...however the drop in front is still higher than the drop in the rear. It seems the ratio is still the same. About 2 fingers from the top of the tire to the bottom of the fender in front and 1 finger in the rear. I am using stock GT PP wheels and stock rubber as well. So at this point i was thinking on going back to stock spring in the rear.

There is nothing wrong with installing mixed springs.

I do recommend that you keep them similar though, in terms of design. Progressive or Linear only - but that is just my recommendation.

In a few weeks, we will have our Performance Springs available F and R separately, and later this year we will have many different F and R springs available separately. ;)

It is pretty easy to add height back into the rear if your aftermarket springs lower it more than you want. Adding a second spring isolator to the top of the spring would probably raise it enough. Something like this.

YES I was just thinking about this yesterday and wondering if I could find anything. I havent put my sportlines on in the rear yet because I dont want the rear slammed.
