I have to say that my car runs sooooooooo much better with the new tune. I still have my stuff on its way from beefcake though so I can get a good tune when make some boost and exhaust upgrades. My wife is going to fu(king kill me. Lol.

Glad to hear!!! I know it's been a while. We need to get together soon and compare notes.

I was wondering about that as well?
I went ahead and tried it. I re flashed my car back to the stock tune then loaded the latest tune provided by procharger. It didn't make difference, but like I mentioned before, this is still s better tune than the original one but that midrange stutter is driving me crazy!

My car runs better, no idle problem, the midrange stutter persists but less intense, it has more power. It's not perfect but much better.

Just got back from the dyno and the car is still not running like it should. The best pull was 468 @ 6500rpm.
You might want to check out installation issues.
Cause that power level is VERY VERY VERY VERY low. (even at 6,500)

1) Why stop at 6,500? the revlimiter is at 7,300
2) Even at 6,500 we have never seen a car below 500rwhp.

Belt is fine and we also checked all the intercooler piping for boost leaks. Not sure what other issues can be causing this problem. Each pull went down by like 30hp after the first test pull. You can feel the car's computer limiting power just like it did with the first tune I had. Seems like another timing problem to me. The pull to 6500 was just a test pull and it ended up being the highest numbers even after stopping at 7300 on run 1 and 2. The car pulled somewhat better with the first revision but once I got the revision for the idle the car is back down.

Man this tuning issue sucks. No doubt PC wants this fixed, it's gotta be hurting sales from other forum members.

Funny you say that because I was all about getting a PC kit until I started coming across all these threads..

I still want it, but I will be closely watching to see how these get resolved.

This is the only person that is reporting low power.

A customer with that same tune 2 days ago, just reported back 582rwhp.

Also, nobody has had one that would loose power each run.
It either made the power, or didn't.

Datalogs of each run would be the best of way of finding your issue.
Please send them to [email protected]

ON THAT NOTE: a HIGH percentage of our sales are tuner kits, and only a handful of our full systems are having this issue. (most of which are on this forum) so all and all we want to get to the bottom of it, however we are glad its fairly "contained" so to speak.

The fact that you haven't abandoned us speaks volumes of Prochargers commitment to their customers, although frustrating at times. It's disappointing to have a semi crippled car but I know it will be fixed.

For Beefcake...
Procharger stated in an earlier post that their tune only modifies WOT (anything pre-WOT is Ford OEM tuning).
My question is, do your tunes only affect WOT or the entire range?
thx!
