Anyone else find it incredibly annoying washing your car in car wash with the key in your pocket? My lights keep illuminating over and over and over as I move around the car. My solution was to leave the key in the car, but I always forget at first. Silly technology.

you can disable the touch unlock/lock.

This has annoyed me to the point where I won't leave the key in my pocket during washes. Audi/Toyota are worse with their chirp. Corvette/CTS were the only ones where I could ever leave the key in my pocket due to hidden handles.

I always place mine on my workbench when I'm washing her. The first time I washed her, I thought there was something really weird going on, because I didn't know about the touch to lock feature.

Whenever I wash I have to move my other car out of the driveway, so I have that set of keys up there too, so it's not a bother to me.

Ive had my fob in my pocket a few times washing the car and I've never had this problem.

Been discussed here already. Consensus was to toss the key fob inside the car while washing it. It works.

Doesn't bother me. Kinda like that the car acknowledges my efforts.

Haha, same here. I sat the other day and squirted the handle then the lock button over and over to watch my lights blink. Then moved to the taillights and did the same thing. It doesn't take much to entertain me:crazy:

Yes. Very annoying. Would be great if we could disable the autolock feature. Under other circumstances, from what I can tell, if I want my Enhanced Security to be set right away, I have to to "lock" my car anyway by touching the handle so autolock doesn't do me any good.

I also find it a pia. I now put the fob on my steps when washing.

I just imagine the car is thanking me for the attention.
Or is just ticklish. :p

I just worry that one of the car wash attendants will lock the door somehow with the key inside and then it'll roll off the conveyor and nobody can get in it and it'll get rear-ended by the car behind it on the conveyer, or roll out into traffic.
