Was unable to do a agressive launch. Track was not prep well but it was a good day.
da -200.
Nearly off idle take off. Could not get better than 2.035 60 ft.

My car is a 300 A bone stock including optional 3.55 gear except that I replace my stock 18inch tire with 19 inch 255, 285.

Manual can run with the auto! Powershift is the key! And hard break in.
On a prep track with tire this is at least low 12 if not better. My second 1/8 is nearly as fast has my friend 2011 premium with brembo with tune cai and axleback

2015 are for real. Just need some mileage to loose out the engine I m bellow 600 miles but I can feel the car is a lot faster than when I pick it up.

Holy shit...that is 116mph with the only change being bigger and heavier wheels? WOW..

Nice driving. The DA is good too but I would not call it mineshaft air either.

Awesome run!!
3.55's FTW

My stock 15 GT base 6M with 3.55's feels every bit as strong as my tuned 12 GT with 3.73's did:)

Make sure you post your time slip in the fastest 1/4 mile times thread as well.

My wheel and tire combo are only about 1-2 pound heavier total than the stock combo. Still they are not exotic lightwheel only affordable Niche Essen M147 19x8.5 and 19x10.
Tire are Continental DW.

Everything else like I said is bone stock. I am 240 lbs but I run with a small qty of fuel to compensate until I loose some belly lol.
My car is also a base Gt so she is a bit lighter but still not as light as a 2011-2014 premium Gt not even talking about a base 2011-2014 those are really lightweight

BMR has weighed the GT's and said that the base non PP manual GT was actually well into the 3600 lbs range, about the weight of a 11-14 base auto GT

They Weight a base auto at 3704 and a pp base manual at 3736 not a base manual non PP. Automatic have a lighter driveshaft and differential cover but a heavier tranny
There is no way that my car is as light as a base 2011 gt. I wish it was! My guest is 3680 full of gaz. My friend 2011 premium with brembo is still lighter than my 2015.

I wasn't comparing to the manual brembo which has a base curbweight of 3600. The 11-14 auto GT curbweight is 3675lbs...

The 15 base non PP GT is pretty close in weight.

Got it I misread you. However I take the manufacturer weight with a grain of salt. But it should be close enough. Also 2011-2012 are maybe a little lighter than 2013-2014

All stock? Thats a solid time but even better trap speed.

Bone stock except 19 inch larger tire.

Too much throttle and the torque management/clutch protection reduce power and making so create wheel hop so with street tire I needed too launch off idle. On the street around 3000 I can spin without too much hop but 4000 rpm + torque management create wheel hop. On the street on good asphalt I could do in the 1.8s 60ft not at my track.

At the track there is also a delay after I powershift probably du by the hard limiter and protection. On my best run I shift a little bit faster so the protection did not slow the car beetween my shift and I run 0.2 second faster. A tune is a must on this car more than ever in my humble opinion. I will try that next!

Try to do a burnout without line lock you will see what is torque management/clutch protection. It is worse on a manual because of the clutch protection involve.

Thats why the time is not terrible compare to trap speed. But I must admit that I was blown away by my mph. A friend who have a speed shop at the drag site was making fun of me saying that auto are faster and 2015 slower than previous model. I have a 11 sec fox body and I was telling my friend that my 2015 was feeling very fast.

Indeed it was fast and he was shocked after my runs! No more bad comments lol.

The only thing that is really bad is the hop. Hoping the tune, et street tire and my steeda insert will solve that issue

Mine weighed 3575 with low gas, stock 18x8's w/255/35 dunlops, MF comp cat-back, upgraded (heavier) sways, and a few plastic pieces, and trunk junk taken off/out.

It was 3593 with no mods, trunk junk out. These weights are on intercomp corner scales, the 3575, on SCCA scales used at a National Tour, so they should be accurate.

I have PC680 battery, will empty the washer fluid, and will soon figure out how to take the rear seats out for the Texas Mineral Wells pro-solo, and should get another weight there. I'd guess I'll be down close to 3500 with all that out. With Seats, a light weight brake package, Headers, I expect to be sub-3400 by next year, possibly by September and SCCA Solo Nationals.

I guess I should take it to the strip at least once. I will get 60ft times at the Pro-Solo in June.

Base 11-14 GT auto may be in the lower 3600 lb range. For comparison, my loaded 14 GT auto premium is just over 3700 lbs per our local truck scales (accurate to within 20 lbs.).
