They would be just spacers, looks like a washer

Right but when they are used is there enough thread left to safely tighten the lugs and not worry?

Need 5-7 full turns, so a 3mm to 5mm spacer is about the max I would personally do.

Now a hubcentric wheel adapter, which bolts to the hub then has its own lugs that the wheel attaches to, can be a lot thicker.

Right but you would need around 1.5" thick to swallow the factory studs and this would be too far out.

I may consider the 5mm spacers I guess

Re-read the first post...answered my own question. They are hubcentric.

I'm in for a set of 4 @ 0.1875 inch!
