Adam, you truly have done a lot of hard work with great results. The seperate graphs do help, and I understand your pov. Ty!
Ive been trying to decide, gt/eco. Maybe im not a turbo person, as the loss of low end power is hard to grasp. Not to mention a less smooth power curve overall.
Add to that a larger turbo, larger fmic, oil catch can etc, and the weight advantage of the Eco diminishes considerably.
Ill have to think this thru.

The price I posted doesn't include Accessport or the intercooler, they are additional. So you would of needed to purchase those (if you wanted) outside of the turbo kit anyhow.
I think another way to ask this is, what if a person already has the curent MAP dp and cai?

The market value and demand for our product second hand is very high. I have had people start selling their parts already for funds for the turbo kit and they sold their parts almost immediately.

This. I never realized how popular MAP was until i did some poking around. They are VERY well known in the DSM world.

EVO and Subaru were our main markets before the Mustang!

So far i feel MAP has contributed more to the EB Mustang than any other tuning company. Other companies have just offered tunes, small parts here and there, and really haven't been very active on the forum community. MAP has taken us every step of the way through their R&D processes, testing, and even priced their products competitively. I know for sure who will get my money when I'm ready.

I agree. they have been very helpful with my questions and upgrades. Got my Cobb tuner from them, and ordered eibach springs and their in house exhaust. They will continue to get my money.

So lets say from going on dyno numbers stock to new turbo numbers. Assuming a car was bone stock, M/T, using a 12% loss (correct me if I'm wrong) were looking at 272/281. Now say a customer was looking at installing this turbo kit, along with the catback, and they're looking at 380/387 or even better, 400/400. That is a jump of 128HP and 119HP over stock, all of that for around $4000. Not trying to start a flame war, but that sounds like a better bargain than FI for a GT, where a supercharger kit could run $5000 or more.

Dollar for dollar, I still think the EB is worth it for a dd. So for the cost of this package and a base EB, you get a little more hp as a base gt w/ a tune and catback, correct?

The EB is 150-200 lb lighter, still gets better mpgs, and taxes and insurance are a bit less.

For the $5k for a blower on the GT, you instantly have a bad to the bone driver, but one that is going to really be too much, imo, for anything less than using drag radials at all times, unless spinning tires is your thing. Personally, I didn't like going sideways at 80 when I floored my old car.

Another benefit as far as I'm concerned is it's different.

If anyone scoffs at modding the EB vs buying a GT, just remind them it's a good mpg getting, fun commuter. Not sure what's not to like...

Not to mention I've seen vendors do insane amounts of tuning to make it safe, plus larger injectors, and eventually clutch, half shafts, maybe taller gears, and suspension mods. I think for 400HP, stock suspension and brakes on the EB with PP is decent for that power level. Going higher, well, if you got money to afford a built block, you got money to afford the other stuff.

I like the fact that it is usable horsepower, as you've said. 650 or 700HP (which is the average I've been seeing with the GT FI kits) its just too much as a commuter.

And then theres pricing. Cheapest kit I've seen is $5800, and thats not including tuning or fuel system upgrades. Hellion just released their twin turbo system, for $8500, and that doesn't even include tuning.
