I think of the rain as a free car wash; when I get home -- take out the drying towels
and wipe her down -- looks brand new.
Oh god that poor car. There is so much dirt and particles in rain water that you're grinding into your clear coat

5,000 miles in 9 weeks driving (4 months storage) I don't feel bad about miles so long as I am enjoying the drive. A few days I have driven it (DD) and it was terrible weather and the summer tires could not connect With the road. 50+ and sunny idc how many miles I put on.

I can understand snow and bullshit like that but rain? Whatever to each their own I suppose. I'll drive mine in rain, and it isn't my only vehicle...you make the payment do what you want with it. Personally I've let too many of my previous vehicle rot away in the garage/ not being driven much so the guy I sold it to could enjoy it. I realized that that's pretty will silly of me.
I don't care one bit about the car getting dirty in the rain, honestly I enjoy hand washing this car just to spend more time looking at it, but with this much torque it is so hard to put anything down on wet pavement especially with summer tires so the car becomes equivalent to my second vehicle. I didn't buy this car to drive it like a granny so I use my winter vehicle when there is nothing but rain forecast.

Rain; whats that?

Even with the bad drought up here, chances are that ours will never encounter a drop of it.

Also after 23 days of ownership, odometer is exactly at 500. Its a toy for me.

I drive NYC to Fort Lauderdale and back every summer! Normally do it in one straight shot; last time I dropped my sister off at Fort Lauderdale airport at 5:00 a.m. Saturday and pulled in to Brooklyn at 3:00 a.m. Sunday.
You are seriously hardcore if your sister was flying anywhere north. :D

Daily driver. Short trip to the office for now from the hotel. (Working out of town in ATL from Houston, bought it here.)

2,248 miles since December 7th. I go out for cruises on Sunday mornings and that's where most of my miles come from.

I'll put another 900ish on it when I go home.

Mine is a daily driver. I picked her up 11/22 and I normally clock 900 miles a month commuting to work plus lots of extra driving. Because I've been home with a work injury to my back I only have 2800 miles on her. While she still smells new and hasn't had many miles on her. I wish I had many more miles. The more I drive it the more I love the car.

325 miles a week for me. 4 weeks @ 1,300 miles.

Every time we need to go someplace, the kids (13 and 7) want to go. So we take the Explorer Sport.

Life is short! If you love to drive that's what you should do! I'm on my 7th new car ( 3rd mustang) and I've been just a bit apprehensive the first few thousand or so for all. After that I didn't care and loved all the little road trips. Not one car did I look back 5 years later and say " damn, I put too many miles on that." I only have about 1200 on mine after a month and it's going to increase quickly very soon.

I've had mine a little over a month - only a little over 500 miles on the odometer. I have a 2002 Ford Ranger Edge 4x4 that is my daily driver. The Mustang only comes out on sunny days. But when it's sunny I take every opportunity to drive it - even when there is nowhere I need to go! As with others, I love driving it.
