We did receive confirmation that the borla touring and S types is identical to the FRPP touring and sports. We talked to both FRPP and Borla on this matter however, we have noticed slight tone differences between the two.

We've sold a few touring from Borla and about 40 FRPP touring setups, we've only received 1 review that had drone.

If we can help, just let us know!
Something is still not right with this statement. The parts diagram for the Borla Touring and S-Type shows the axle-back exhaust portions are the same, the only difference in the systems is the resonator vs. x-pipe. But the FRPP versions both have x-pipes, so the differences there must be from the axle back.

I emailed Borla on this trying to get an answer to which of the systems is louder and got back that he hadn't heard the FRPP version so he couldn't tell me. Certainly it shouldn't be rocket science to get someone from Borla to explain which of their systems is louder?

Thanks :) Also Borla posted a video of the EcoBoost version of their exhaust (Touring vs. S-Type vs. Atak) on YouTube recently... the first comment is from them saying there is a similar GT video coming soon, I'm looking forward to that. Still won't answer which is louder, FRPP Touring or Borla Touring, but it'll help.

How is the Borla Touring with a suitcase design identical with the FRPP Touring
that has a x-pipe ?????

Yeah, that was my fault. The mufflers are the same.

My guess would be the Borla Touring is slightly quieter and deeper and less raspy the the Ford Racing Touring.

Love the sound of my Ford Racing Touring:))
Can not go wrong with Borla Touring which will be little quieter because of the resonator instead of X pipe .
Either way Borla Mufflers sound the best.
No drone at all:)

This is the CJ Pony parts video of the Borla S-type video here:

This is less muffled than the touring and has the same x-pipe as the FRPP Borla. They are not going to tell you its the same...for a product that's 300-500 less!

Anybody pair the FRPP Touring catback with LT headers? I'm thinking this might be the perfect sound level since I feel like the FRPP Sport with LT headers is a bit too loud.

One of the reasons I like the ARH full system, makes great power and not overly loud (for our standards).

I'm sure the touring would actually sound pretty dang good though. We typically keep all FRPP catbacks in stock and ships out same day.

Let us know if we can help:)

My car is still awaiting shipment, which it has been for over a month now.
Unless it magically shows up today I am going to cancel my order and sell my exhaust, so I won't be able to post any videos of it, sorry!

I am thinking about taking this route. However it will be axle backs mated to the ARH system.
