I'm trying to find a very deep sounding catback system. Id like it to not be too loud, but not too quiet either. I dont like the raspy noise some people like, so id prefer it stay deep throughout the power band. And the less interior drone the better.
This is the closest ive found

If anyone has any other suggestions i would appreciate them.
Thanks in advance!

I ran a catless very raspy high pitch exhaust in my old cobra and hated it. I looked through many different setups looking for a very deep and non raspy sound. The one that i went with was the magnaflow competition catback.

I am very satisfied with it. It is very deep all throughout, and not very loud at idle. I really like it, and am glad i went with it. I dont see many other people going with it, but i like it. Not the cheapest setup but well worth it in my opinion.

We're glad to hear you like your exhaust. One of the main reasons why we're not the cheapest is that unlike most of our competitors, all of our products are made in the USA in our Southern California factories. Also, we use super high quality stainless for our performance exhaust systems as well as quality packing material for our mufflers. That's why we're able to offer a lifetime warranty on our stainless systems. Just something to consider for anyone still shopping for an exhaust system!

I personally like the ARH catback. Very deep, low rumble!

Let us know if we can help you out!

This page has lots of videos of the setup!

Im EXCEPTIONALLY pleased with the ARH H-Pipe Catback I got from Beefcake. I was a little on the fence about it, but I couldnt possibly be happier with it. No drove when cruising on the highway, I can hold a conversation, but under load it sounds unbelievable.

Hey Br725 -

That's a great question and there's literally a ton of Catback Exhaust setups on site here and Stainless Work's is hands down one of my favorites but I need to give Ford Racing's Sport Catback some love here; I'll argue it up and down that it's one of the better systems because of the research and development that went into it in my opinions it's hands down the best sounding exhaust for the 2015 Mustang GT. Check out the sound clip below along with a few reviews and if you're to have any questions at all feel free to drop me a PM, I'm always around to help out!

I shot you a PM as well! Let me know if you received it!

For a very deep tone I'd recommend Hooker AeroChambers. I've had them on my car for nearly 10 years. They're sort of a hybrid straight-through/baffled muffler. You can see from one end to the other but you can also see the chambers in it. Very deep, and louder than stock but not obnoxious.

To add to this, I'm running the Magnaflow Competition catback on my 15 and I couldn't be happier with it. Deep tone that's not over bearing at all. Everyone around has given me compliments on it as well.

We are a stocking distributor for Magnaflow as well. if your interested, shoot me a PM or phone call about pricing.

What set of axle backs do you all recommend for ARH headers to get that deep sound?

You can't go wrong with the Stainless Works H-Pipe, we have done a ton of them and they all sound great.

The one no one has mentioned is the Gibson Catback. I have it on my car and it is very deep sounding. Here is a sound clip of one we did just recently.

Everyone will have an opinion on which has the sound you are looking for. Really, only you can decide.

I was in the exact same position as you several months ago and I ended up going with the ARH H-pipe catback. My thread with numerous videos and impressions of the system is located here:
