The point is, different tracks yield different times, regardless of what has been hyped in the past.

I'll say it again...You are only here to banter back and forth on the Camaro vs. Mustang (6G)...nothing more. Which I find odd by the way. You do that crap at Camaro 5/6 and you are banned. That simple.

...and different venues will also raise some questions.

Good question by Erik, where's the legendary grip?

Answer:

There never really was any... Sure, it was a touchdown and a field goal better than the SS. The SS both '10/'11 and FE4 sucked hard. One of the magazines even went on record saying "I never went off the track at Willow except in a Camaro SS". They didn't tell you poor souls this until the z28 came out...

Yea for publications!!!

What legendary grip is needed when you're doing 40 mph? Weight. Weight. Weight. Wonder what a Miata did on these "tracks".

Funny, I've heard plenty about people getting banned here. I've talked shit in Camaro and Challenger forum and haven't gotten banned...So?

Point is, Pill is a liar. He likes to twist weights, times, or anything else. He gets called out on it and never will show proof. He's just a basher, plain and simple.

Yall have a good day. I'm outtie.

I posted results from a stock SCCA class that both the GT and 1LE compete in. Why is that lying again?

The only "twisting" I do is to the same music I play every year. The 1LE sucks in Racing, Pro, Am, Class, Solo...

This has happened every year since 2012. The first year was the worst in my opinion. The GT's knocked the 1LE out of Pro in only 2 years.

This is a geometry issue with the 5th Gen, even at the z28 level, the platform licked b@lls.

The 2015's advantage is almost transparent if you don't know cars. The foot print is aggressive for this price range and output. The weight gain people complain about is very little in the real world compared to equally equipped S197's.

This with the ILIRS and DBJ MacP is a very good start on the Mustang's flat surface. Once more tire is added (different class), these things will be amazing for the money. Some people have used the base GT too with great results. It is just as fast as the Boss 302's in their classes if not faster.

As we see though, the potential of the GT's Performance Package was nearly 2 seconds faster than the '13 Boss 302 at this very, very short course (long in Solo terms).

Amazing!!!

Pill,
What are your comments on the Base GT with zero fuel and trunck junk removed being 3593 lbs? Ford's weight scale on the base car of being 3705 was dead on! The main page of musang6g shows a member scaling his base gt car at 3593 lbs with zero fuel and no trunk liner and air pump! 16 gallons of fuel at 6.6 lb per gallon gives you 105+ lbs and the remaining is the trunk junk! Finally a confirmation that is matching the Ford's 3705 lb base weight!

My 2011 Brembo GT weighed 3579lbs and Terry's was 3563lbs. It is right in line with the cars we are replacing. That was Terry's first base GT scaled and it was very close.

We have seen Base GT's weigh between 3550-3600lbs so far in similar fashion. We have also seen a GTPP that weighed 3722 and 3744lbs full.

So, we were pretty happy considering our '11's were just as heavy.

In Camaro vs. Mustang news:

When Fox News asked GM’s VP of Global Product Development Mark Ruess if the new Camaro will outperform the new Mustang, he gave a pretty bold answer: “I”m confident. I’m very confident.”

They also claimed the 2012 ZL1 would win too and that didn't turn out very well.

Not this again, 3722 to 3744 is a gtpp with fuel and nothing removed. Your other weights are with 0 fuel and no trunk junk. And your s550 weight is misleading, terrys car is heavier than your 11gt. You are just taking misleading numbers and stating them as facts when they are not with equal gas or oem equipment. Or are you bringing up s197 weight again for no reason?
