Does anyone know what the 2015 mustang GTPP does the Nurburgring at?

My boss just got the pheonix yellow M4 and we can't find who is faster around the ring....its a joke around the office that anytime I get a car he gets one that's better. I should rent a lambo for a week and watch him sell his house to get a Mclaren lol.

He has a tune and I have all the mods listed in my signature and I beat him around town all day. But stock to stock the Nurburgring would answer a lot of questions.

I can only find the GT350R lap time of 7:32:19. The GT may not have run an official lap there yet.

Not sure, but I think the M4 might smoke the GT on that ring...Those engineers test the cars and build them for that style track. The GT is still American, but bleeding to the European market. I would LOVE the answer to be yes, but the stock GT MAY not beat the new M$ on the ring. The GT350R, I think will easily smoke it.

In the latest edition of the German "sport auto" magazine they tested a GT PP against the Audi RS5 and BMW M4. Not on the Nürburgring but the short version of Hockenheim.

M4 was 0.2 sec. faster RS5 0.3 sec. slower
I look up the exact times when I get home.

You will never know, as a Ford does not issue official times from that venue for any car. Mid your boss is using the M4's times on that track as evidence he has a "better" performance car, he's an idiot.

Why does Ford not release 'Ring times? I assume because they use that track for testing purposes only and recognize that there is no "standard" as to how a timed lap is conducted at that venue. Therefore, a direct time comparison between cars means nothing in the real world. Some companies like to use 'Ring times for marketing purposes, others do not. Ford just happens to be one that does not.

I'm pretty positive that the M4 is the overall, though only slightly, better performance car. At the end of the day they both kick ass.
