Does anyone know why Ford put summer only tires on the 20" wheel option? I understand the PP setup but I can't figure it out. Not that I'm complaining. I ordered the 20" wheel option and am lovin' it. Just don't know why Ford set it up that way.

I like them too and I know I'll need a set of winters. I'm just wondering what Ford's logic is with the set up. I mean does the car come with additional performance mods that you don't get with 18" or 19" AS tires? I know it gets one of the braces under the hood that you get when you get the PP but are there more chassis perks they've included?

Forget about that, my biggest annoyance is I could not order the 20" Wheels with the PP package.

Pirelli doesn't make all-seasons in that tire size.

Of course they do:

But nice try Jimmy.
I'm wondering if they wanted to do something that was half way between the PP and non-PP cars in terms of performance. But they really didn't get there. There's some additional bracing with the 20s and the summer tires. Maybe it's the groundwork for a 2016 MY Mach 1 or something.
