Ecoboost Noise Dampers

Could it be some kind of tuned mass damper to reduce vibrations from the 4-cylinder? Might not be needed on the 8 due to the smoother torque delivery.

No idea, I've done 200 miles without them and havent noticed any change.

Odd..I was looking at the CJ Pont Parts videos to see if they had on the ecoboost. I can't tell.
