You guys are all about instant gratification. You just want something and buy it.
I have five children to support and two more to put through college. My wife needs a new kitchen and two new bathrooms.

Does anyone mind if I take a few weeks to make up my mind? Can I put some thought into this? I need to sell two motorcycles and a Civic to get a sensible down payment together. DO I have to sit on my hands until then? Maybe I should just crawl up under a rock until fall comes and stick my head out then.

Wait until you have some responsibilities and you'll see what that does to your buying habits. Wait until all you've saved for college goes down in value with the price of oil.

At the time I wrote that, I was three days removed from having a rental V6 M/T with 3.15 for four days. I was smitten with it. After I sat down later and looked at the costs of the fuel economy differences, I decided the 3.55 was well worth it. Even with fuel at $4/gal, with my driving habits it'll only be ~$300 a year difference.

Knowing your situation, take your time! It's worth feeling good about it when it's the right time. I've wanted to get one since production started, but my wedding is this year and I just reached our savings goal for it in the last month. After that, it was time!

All of your prior posts indicated that you were ready to buy, just hadn't figured out what you wanted to buy.

Yeah I do plan to get a spoiler for the car, but I don't like the current stock one. I think I will wait and see what comes out soon. I really liked the spoiler on the 2014 Mustang.

A trunk mat is a nice feature to have before your new trunk carpet gets messed up, but I wouldn't recommend the OEM all-weather mat. I thought it was going to be a heavy rubber mat, but it is just flimsy plastic. The aftermarket mats are probably nicer.

I actually ordered Ingot Silver...but am seriously considering changing to Guard. I got it with 051A, 3.55 gears, spoiler delete. That's it.

Don't you dare! Ingot Silver is a great color. Guard is absolutely no-personality. I was going to get Ruby Red or DIB, but now I think I'll get Ingot Silver just to prove to you what a great color it is.

The only thing wrong with Ingot Silver is that a lot of Accords are some shade of silver. Other than that, it's Aces. Especially since you're stuck with a black interior.

I definitely disagree on Guard - I think it is an amazing color when reasonably clean.

My reasoning for Silver is this:
- Silver shows the lines of the car better than any other color
- I love the silver/black contrast on the trunk back panel
- Silver will be, by far, the easiest to keep looking clean, even when it's not
- In sunrise/sunset light, the glow of the car is fantastic (pic below)
- Silver will hide the inevitable scratches and such much better

I really love Guard though, as it's so unique and has a stealthy, sinister look to it and changes a lot depending on the lighting. The downside is that it looks very blah when it's dusty, so it'll need to be kept clean very often.

Color is subjective. For instance I hate all silver cars. Just reminds me of plain steel. Guard and Magnetic are awesome in that they change a lot depending on lighting. Some people hate that, though.

I thought the yellow looked good in pictures until I saw it in person. The paint wasn't as bright and lively when I saw it in the showroom.
