I agree...
+1
Rule # 1 is don't buy a first year model
Rule #2 is don't buy a first year engine

we all knew the risks when we signed up. That said, no issues at all for me. knock on wood.

You won't see an issue if you drive like grand ma lol but if you drive on the aggressive side you might, some of you that say you don't have a problem but you very well could you just don't drive hard enough long enough for the code to set, I made 3 full throttle passes and no code was set but the misfires are still there and eventually the code will show up under the right conditions, but ignorance is bliss :-)

So unless you have a scan tool and can check mode6 for misfites don't say you don't have a problem because you don't know

My car is in for the P0300 misfire, cleared it once and came back. Lets see what they say up here in Canada. We don't have lemon laws up here. so F me right?

It's under warranty. They already know about the issue, they said you can continue driving it. Whatever happens they are responsible.

My guess is there will be a lot of cars with the problem but if you only occasionally get on it it might never set the check enginr

When I drive mine to work, I log over 80 miles a day and definitely don't drive like a grandma. I've recorded bunches of datalogs which means many WOT passes from about 35-90 and I also drive mountain roads a bit more aggressively during my spare time too, so if I had an issue with this, I'm pretty sure it would have surfaced.

I have a couple different scan tools as well. ;) Trust me, if I had a problem, I'd be the first one to know.

I had a similar problem on a totally unrelated vehicle, it was a motorcycle actually. I disconnected the battery for a few seconds and then the light didn't come back on.

What are you logging ? You can't "log" mode 6 data and of course you very well might not have an issue not all cars will of course

Just be sure to get whatever updates are available uploaded to your car whenever you visit the dealership or are near by.

What you are talking about is occurring on a tuned car so I would say the likelihood of this issue definitely increased for you versus those of us who are riding on the factory tune

Could be although the other guys are not tuned I think I might be the only one that is actually , and again car runs fine nothing seems wrong

I am as stock as you can get, and it is happening to me.

I believe one has, they stated it might be bad gas, bad oil, spark plugs etc. Pretty much everything that has already been covered. The only thing people have not tried is that battery pull.
