With the reverse camera standard, your probably better off backing into a parking spot. You'll be able to see with the camera when to stop. Bonus of you've got the reverse assist.
Honestly I think that is why Ford only put the reverse park assist sensors in the back. I think they want you to park rear in.

In regards to the hood, that is why I believe the 350 hood is the better looking hood. I hope someone comes out with after market hood/sides that match the 350 because whenever I get my GT, I want that hood and side fenders from the GT350. They just complete the car IMO.

I have curb alert installed-->:thumbsup:
Pics? Info? Cmon share!!

Mine is set apx 13" out & 4" high.

When it beeps I stop and creep another couple of inches. I tested it several times with a box in my street, tested it with a spotter (in case it wasn't calibrated correctly) against a real curb downtown...It's the next best thing to an actual camera.

It disappears around 4'-5' away:

Here is a good video showing how easy it's to calibrate;

The long hood was weird while parking at first, but I guess I quickly got used to it: now whenever I park my old car I unconsciously leave 2-3 feet of empty space in front of the car :p

I normally back up into parking spots.
that's the way everybody should park their car, plus you got the rear camera, right?
Advantage : makes it easier and safer to drive away afterwards.
On the other hand, you can always place sensors in front like the one you got in the rear.

ehhh. no. could you imagine all the terrible drivers attempting reverse parking all the time? it would be a disaster.
it will be a complete disaster when everybody has to leave a parking lot in case of an emergency..... think about this one.....

It's taking some time adjusting to the long hood, especially when my current and previous vehicles are Toyota trucks with a short hood. I've bumped the curb a couple times cringing I smashed in the lower front bumper but it seems to be whatever the standard cube height is +1" >whew!<

If I had lowering springs my front end would be smushed within a week
