break in period red line

hit the red line with 300 miles on the car. trying not to freak out. I cant help but drive this car hard every time I put my foot on the gas. The power is there every time I let it rev up to about4500- 6000 rpm slowly before I just about floor it into second and let the tires break loose. Am I going to break anything or mess up something doing this? I know some people don't worry about the break period but I don't want any problems. Thanks

I did a line lock in the dealers parking lot with 23 miles on it.As long as u change the breakin oil when recommended u will not have any problems.I have drove all my mustangs like this and had o problems with the engine because of agressive driving.

whelp because of this your panels are now misaligned, you have a ticking at idle, slight rodknock, and your mt82 is failing.

At 21miles - rev to 6k : dump clutch ... my ProCharger will be installed before I hit 500miles.

shift down at a Speed that makes your engine revv at least 8k in the lower gear...

Mine has 341 miles, has done 6 dyno pulls to 6800 RPM. I figure if it breaks I know what to replace next.

When the car says it's time, 7500 miles, or 6 months. Whichever comes first. You can also elect to throw your money away and change it sooner for peace of mind.

we typically put them in 2nd gear, run them up to redline immediately, and then coast down to a stop several times to help seat the valves, other than that.

then drive it like you stole it.

we broke this one in on the dyno, 14 miles and 3 pulls to redline lol

I red-lined mine to where it cut the engine yesterday, 2 times same pull...the frigging car is so quiet I forgot I was on it and when it dropped I did it again then realized what I was doing...what a bonehead! I pinged Raptor Shift lights to see eta on there device for 2015 Mustang...
