Keeping the new car smell

I have had my Pony for 6 weeks. I am doing what ever it takes to keep the new smell
I change shoes when I get in the car; shoes that are dirty from the snow/ice do not touch the pedals
I keep the dealer's paper mat on top of my all-weather mat
Nothing that smells can come in the car
Don't go and buy "new car smell" containers. They smell like shit perfume
I am not yet ready to drive with the windows open ----I have to keep skunk smells, leaves, dust, out of my car.
While the weather in New England is the way it is I take my bike and garage the Pony

Any other ideas?

Go down to Flat Rock, figure out what they use for adhesive, and spill a bunch of it all over the back seat. That'll help.

Seriously, you can't do much to retain it. It'll wear off over time. (And you want it to.)

Alternative answer: if you use Line Lock enough, that smell will replace the new car smell, and we know which one smells better

I love that smell too.

Idk if its just a leather thing, but my Taurus still had a faint scent of the new car smell even after three years. I always brought home food in the car but the new car smell still remained.
