It does sound awesome. Ill like to hear this with an H-Pipe. LethalPerformance get on it lol. I noticed they have their kit along with the axle backs for 969. I would actually consider trading it for my SW Catback.
Good lord, this thing with an H-pipe? Just downright nasty, if I had to guess.:headbang:

Do the midpipes line up the same?

It wont work the SW/ARH are all 3" piping while the Borla/FRPP are 2.5"

You would need some custom couplers to connect them, but could probably have a local shop bend some really cheap

This!!! I hate you now just when I thought I didn't have to spend more money. LOL. I think I'll go with lethal performance H-pipe and the axle back.

I assume that it could be done though. 4 clamps and a tube piece like this. The you could trade out to 2.5" axlebacks all you want but keep the 3" piping. I'd hate to sell the whole ARH system to just go buy another H pipe (2.5") and maybe/hopefully like a new set of axlebacks. At least this way you just clamp back n the ARH mufflers and back as it was to begin with.

So I guess you could get the 3" versions of these and it would work with ARH or SW. I'm wanting to run ARH headers but the Borla Type S catback I'm just wondering if will work.

This Is what I wanted to do with my SW catback with the Borla axle back. But considering they go for about 700 I'll just go with lethal performance and get all the piping for 900. And sell my SW catback so I don't take too much off a loss

This. I totally forgot that Borla does make a 3" version of the S/ATAK on their site (I dont think it's out quite yet for sale), so they do have 3" connect axlebacks.

BTW why not just run the ARH long tube system headers (comes with all 3" through the X/H you choose back to the axlebacks) and then run the 3" connect S-type axlebacks. Same setup but you get all 3" instead of 2.5" from the headers back.

Is there any benefit of running 3" diameter piping vs 2.5?

Not unless you are running forced induction no. But it can't hurt. If you already have an H and it's installed why re-buy? 2 clamps and you have new axlebacks that you can do yourself as the rear fot he car is high enough without jacking it to change the axleback portion.

I'll still have to cut my SW catback because of the way the retro chamber connect.
