I was inspired by EricRN and went ahead and ordered the Gibson muffler. I'll post my results once I get the "system" installed.

No, hopefully this week though. Also I was doing some research on other forums and found a thread where someone had tested the flow of various mufflers. The Gibson I was planning on using didn't do so hot so that's out. Going to use something more straight through, but keeping it secret for now. We'll see what it sounds like later this week and I'll give the part numbers out then as well.

Use a Dynomax ultraflo... It's gonna be a bit louder but it IS straight through. We've used these on a turbo FRS and severa custom exhaust evos before. Part number 17228.

What made you go with Borla over the Magnaflow? Its going to be good to hear different replacments for the stock center resegnater and muffler deletes..

Pretty sure magnaflows are baffled... Confirm deny? How about this borla? Going with anything other than a straight through muffler is less than optimal.

Both Borla and Magnaflow are usually straight through mufflers.

Straight through enough for you? Went with Borla over Magnaflow after listening to lots of videos of both brands. The Borla sounded deeper on most videos and on most forums people agreed.
