Just curious if anyone has used True Car pricing to buy their new Mustang - and if so, how was the experience?

I actually used it since its been 20 years since I bought a new car. I didn't know about x pricing. It really didn't work for what I wanted to order. I got 3 prices from 3 dealers but none of the exact car I wanted. They all offered to order the car I wanted and the dealer I went with let me use True Car pricing for it, but.......

So he does the, this is the pricing for True Car, dealer invoice plus $350.00. Being in the auto industry I flat out tell him there is no add on for True Car pricing on top of the invoice and Im not paying that. In the end I still had to beat him up for the window tint, doc fee and dealer advertising that I am not paying for. The car was 39,100 with supposedly True Car pricing and all there BS add ons. I ended up at 36,300 and Im still not sure that's all that great. Guess we will see when the car comes in. I say use X Plan and don't waste your time with True Car.

True car was $100 cheaper than X plan and thats how I got my EB :)
I'm jealous of everyone not in Florida, because that kind of logic will get you screwed down here. Sure TrueCar might be $100 cheaper than X-Plan here too, then you get ready to sign and they slap a $699 dealer fee onto it that "everyone has to pay, even TrueCar customers"...... the fact that X-Plan caps those fees at $100 per Ford policy was a huuuuuge deal maker for me.
