The LE quarter glasses are pretty cool. And 1600$ each. And rumor is you have to have a vin registered to you to get but i.don't think any one has tested that.

Fwiw, the chrome trim is molded to the glass. You'd have to either paint it black or get the chrome dlo
I would like to install on my 50 AP, but 3200 for the pair is outrageous. 1600 pair, even that seems high, would sway me though.

Nope. Ford parts.com lists them at 1600$ each, 3200 a pair. That's not a typo or misunderstanding. (fwiw, I went through many many parts looking for differences in LE. Found interesting information).

I somewhat agree. But when you have a very low volume part that required a great deal of investment in engineering then the price goes up.

Hah. Funny you say that. People laugh when I mention that factory wheels are so expensive for that same reason.

Reviving this old thread, I want the 50th louvers too. Considering it's just a piece of glass you'd think that some aftermarket company could make a replica for a lot cheaper. I really want them but definitely not at that price lol. I'm hoping someone decides to make these eventually!

I'm really hoping other company's make some black ABS plastic replicas because I had some on my last ride and they still looked great. Might even get them painted to match the wonderful Magnetic color this time.

These are the best I've ever seen on an s550. Granted they are just a rendering, I'm pretty sure they could easily become a reality if there is enough demand. I'm all for these if we could get RPI or someone to make these.

Being a render-only aside, I agree, those are the first set of quarter scopes I've seen that I really like. They look like they actually mold in with the car and aren't an aftermarket stick on. Or not as much so as others we've seen so far, IMO.
I'd buy those for a reasonable price if someone made them!
