I bought the GT500 lower rear valance w/ exhaust tips from American muscle for both my Bullitt (sold now) and current GT. I had to cut off a few inches of the active exhaust tips to fit everything in properly tho. I loved it enough on the first car that I knew I had to do it to my next onelooking for an alternative exhaust tips for my GT with active exhaust. Looking for the size of the mach1/gt500 exhaust tips. Looking for them to be chrome aswell
I personally dont like the 500 diffuser just cause everyone runs one and i bought the one piece diffuser in that photo not to long agoThis is the exact one I used- https://www.americanmuscle.com/mp-c...-style-rear-diffuser-exhaust-tips-408763.html
Install tool approx 2 hours on my driveway pavement no lifts/jacks

The Audi Q7 has some tips that just slip on. They also fit the active exhaust tips. I picked some up on eBay and they look great. No welding required, plus you can easily take them off to polish them. They aren't quite as large as Mach1 tips, but much lower effort.
Please excuse the dirty tips in the picture, it's been to hot to clean the GT>![]()
I did the same⦠One of my favorite mods to date⦠Looks good, works well, sounds good!I went with OEM Mach 1 rear diffuser and OEM Mach 1 exhaust.
