That's at full weight w/ large diameter heavy front wheels.

That's on par w/ the best pass so far for the EB. That's moving pretty well.

It's when and how much it costs to break this barrier that should be of concern...
Precisely, there isn't much more you can do cheaply to go faster...maybe meth and/or some cheap fuel system upgrades to run an e85 blend (which don't exist yet)

Just ordered the boomba bov adapter, my inner ricer told me to do so:cheers:

Yeah but the MAPerformance stuff is too much money :(

I'm going to go with the cobb tuner due to the 5 way map switching then choose a tuner from there

Any info or experience with this?

Just wanted to touch on this. Below is a conversation I had with another forum member about our products when he thought they were a little overpriced.

Nathan,

Thank you for the pm. Regarding the pricing I have to agree with you, most of everybody else's exhaust has what I'm calling "Mustang Tax". They are marking up the price and taking advantage that their customers are buying 2015+ cars and it is a Mustang which has been known for years to have owners that really want to drop some coin. Our pricing is in line with most of everyone else's but we are offering a much higher quality product. Other companies are using poor quality material, slip fit connections, Chinese mufflers, and having multiple weld joints.

With our exhaust components we are providing the customer with fabricated art in my opinion. We are using the highest quality raw material that we source locally from a RathGibson distributor. If you take a look, RathGibson is the biggest tubing manufacturer in the USA. The big companies you see selling exhaust like Magnaflow/Corsa aren't even using USA steel its being imported from overseas then bent here. Magnaflow is using a stamped y-pipe, slip fits, and is MIG welded and asking 1000+ for their catback. We are hand fabricating a 3" to 2.5" y-pipe in house, using v-band clamps, and we are tig welding (with backpurge) every part of the exhaust. We try to make our components as close to one-piece as possible, to prevent any weak spots in the system.

Our exhaust, in my opinion, is priced low compared to the market based purely on the fact of what you are getting. If you add the cost of the raw materials online we are hardly charging for our R&D time, our R&D Cost, Labor, and market research. If you need any information on any aspect of the exhaust please let me know, that is another benefit of going with our system. We do it all under our own roof, so we have all the answers when it comes to the product itself!

Regarding pricing, we are running intro pricing on everything right now for the first 5 units sold of each item. So there are 3 slots left for downpipe and exhaust, and 1 intake slot left on RAW color, and 4 units left in Wrinkle Black if you were interested. Here is pricing breakdown on everything you inquired about, and our intake.

Catless Downpipe - $450.00 shipped
Resonated Exhaust - $985.00 shipped
Raw Intake - $215.00 shipped
Wrinkle black intake - $260.00 shipped
Cobb Accessport - $500.00 shipped

If you purchase the exhaust and downpipe together I can do $1400.00 shipped. If you decide to purchase the accessport with us, you will get continuous free updates whenever we make any revisions to our tunes, and you would also get the Cobb canned tunes and our canned tunes for our products. We designed our products to work with any tuner out there but we have tested it directly with Cobb's off the shelf tune. This will insure that we have no CEL's with our products and AFR's and Timing are safe with our products installed with factory tune, which in results would work without CEL's with any other tuner.

We are finishing up the custom tuning over the next week or two, but if you pulled the trigger today/tomorrow on the Accessport, Downpipe, and Exhaust you would be able to run it on the off the shelf Stage 1 map from Cobb until we email you the file to upload to your accessport and flash for our custom tune.

Let me know if you have anymore questions or concerns!

Again, thank you for the pm.

Hello MAP, I'm really liking your products for the Ecoboost. I also like your explanations and overall tone while providing information. Quality also looks very nice and your exhaust's sound is by far my favorite to date. Now onto my questions.

Your Dyno numbers are impressive to say the least, what I'm struggling with is seeing the value in your pricing. I'm interested in your full turbo back exhaust, no cat, with resonators, and a COBB A/P with a MAP tune on it. Would you be able to offer me a combo deal on those items? And when do you think you'll have have a tune ready for these parts? I'm concerned about a check engine light with the catless down pipe.

These exhaust prices are hard to understand (not just yours, everybody's). I would never try to beat up a vendor to get a better deal, but I am looking for a good value.

Thanks for your time.

Nathan James

We have always tried to offer the highest quality product on the market, with the lowest price tag (comparatively). Other companies aren't offering anything similar to us, and are charging more money, I used examples above.

To the original poster, I sent you a pm about our intake this morning and also responded to the post you commented on!

Let me know if you need anything else.

Thank you,
Adam Brunson

Best advice I can give is to buy right the first time. MAPerformance is a buy it and forget about it type of company. We are also a more expensive brand. Companies like MAP and ourselves offer the best and the best never comes cheap to manufacture or purchase. But you never have to worry about either of our products

It will be later on this year as we have other projects nearing completion first. I would roll with MAP's exhaust if I had to have one now and being fair with my opinion... great quality and even better people making it...

Well, I will stand corrected for sure! I will edit that right now, I was always under the impression you guys were having kits outsourced. I should of known better however with the USA price tag ;)!

Thank you for the kind words, I didn't mean my statement to come off as rude. I apologize!

Never heard of them so I just assumed they were a random company throwing overpriced products so it was my fault for being uneducated. I'm all about quality and that's why I had no issue strictly using Borla and Steeda for my old mustang. I'll reply to MAP regarding their intake/cobb combo for sure.

I remember my buddy had corsas on his 5.0 and praised them, I want zero drone and amazing build quality and you guys deliver with that!

kind if wish I had went with MAPerformance for their Cobb tunes. I had my AP before anybody was doing any tunes so I bought it straight from Cobb.

Been very impressed overall with MAPerformance. :)

Thank you for the kind words, we will still be able to get you one of our tunes. We will be offering them separate from the Accessport as well for a small fee. However if you do buy the Accessport through us it will include our custom tune maps.

So far on a completely stock Mustang we have seen gains of +40whp and +135wtq. We will be finalizing the stock tune hopefully next week, and start shipping our Accessports with them pre-loaded.
