Let me preface this thread, this is my first turbo vehicle, but not my first mustang. I'm pretty new to all how turbo vehicles work so i like to inform myself before i go monkeying around and screw something up.
I took a trip to atlanta this weekend, when i left my car was running/boosting fine. On the way home i noticed my car felt sluggish so i did a little spirited driving and saw that my gauge was reading 4-6 psi of boost when floored. I originally thought that an intercooler pipe must have come loose, upon visual inspection (and feeling with my hand*) i have satisfied myself they are connected. There is no CEL light. I now have turned my focus unto the BOV. If the BOV has failed, i imagine its a fail open valve, if i understand how it all works this would recirculate the air not allowing the car to build boost. Is there a way to determine if this is the issue?
*Side Note what is the best way to access the lower intercooler hoses? take the belly pan off?
