Check the date code on the tires. If original they may need to be replaced due to age. Also make sure AC works, the exhaust modes work, the drive modes work and see if wipers need replaced. If it’s got heated and cooled seats make sure thst works too. Have a good long test drive

AC does work. I’m on them about the tires.

Here now. Car appears stock other than driver and passenger side catch cans. Exhaust is louder than I expected, appears stock as well. Certainly louder than my Mach 1.
Hard to tell from pics, is the OEM x pipe with resonators on the car? Almost thought I saw a resonator delete h pipe but could be wrong. That would explain louder than expected exhaust.

Added some more pics above.

AC does work. I’m on them about the tires.
Tire date code less important than visual cues and tread depth. Garage stored tires from ‘20 could be perfectly fine whereas outside tires 2-3 years newer could exhibit dry rotting most noticeable on outer shoulder blocks where they meet sidewall.

Seems passenger side catch can, driver side catch can, possible H pipe, red brembo swap, tint. Would any of this worry you guys?

Looks good. Carefully inspect the stripes and stickers to see if any of them are peeling or have bubbles. Look at every edge.

Another Pony Car Coming
I have and do track my R with the carbon fiber wheels. I also have a set of Forgelines for the car. They are strong wheels and not easy to damage. The street concerns me more than the track. To the OP, no one here can ask if its financially smart to move to the 350. The Mach 1 is a fantastic car. Its not nor will it ever be a 350. And that's not slighting the Mach 1 in any way. Between the 350, the Mach 1 and the GT500, the GT350 stands alone. I would compare it to the Cobra Jet Mach 1 vs the Boss 429. Its all about the engine. (Yes, Many more 350s were made) that being said, I dont own a Boss 9 because of.... finances.
Each to their own but for me the GT350/R models are certainly a lot more than just being all about the incredible FPC engine.

Aside from developing and offering the exotic, high revving and high strung 5.2L FPC engine the Ford Performance Team put a great deal of engineering, R&D, effort and cost in order to build an incredible total package Mustang Shelby GT350/R.

Key features such as an awesome Tremec TR-3160 6-speed manual transmission, recalibrated spring rates, increased front track width, reduced ride height, MagneRide, lightweight components such as an aluminum hood and strut tower brace, CF wheels and CF rear spoiler, rear seat delete, larger and stickier Michelin tires, large front brake rotors, Brembo calipers, active exhaust, resonator delete, transmission and differential coolers and the list goes on.

No question about the incredible FPC engine but without the list of features listed that were developed and implemented by the men and women at Ford Performance the GT350/R would not have been nearly as successful, famous or coveted by us automotive enthusiasts.

For those that have concerns about piloting an R model on the street with the CF wheels in place, I get that and if that is the case I suggest that the 2-seat GT350R model just might not be the right car for you?

Looks like OEM x pipe present. Catch cans are sign of good owner/up keep. Red Brembos show care, if questionable taste lol. I wouldn’t worry.
