Adding a pair of resonators to this exhaust should make it less buzzy/loud. I honestly think MRT was on the right track with this exhaust. Just needs a bit more fine tuning in my opinion. A pair of straight through glass pack resonators should have no performance hit and tame the exhaust to give it a unique sound.
You are describing the MAP exhaust exactly. :)

Why thank you! We have our products thread posted up now if you guys want to take a look.

To the original poster, I'm sorry you had those experiences not every company ships their packages the same way ;).

Trust me, I know. We would not even bring in a manufacturers line if they shipped out their products packaged like that.

I guess I am just spoiled where I am at. Some of these manufacturers we deal with really know how to package things... we just don't work with anyone that has anything for the Mustang... yet.

I just wish Tomei would make me a full Ti exhaust for the Mustang. Maybe I can ask, hahaha.

I gotta say though, I like how your exhaust sounds. Maybe even a bit more than how the MRT sounds. Hindsight is 20/20 though, lol.

The MRT is only temporary for me. I needed SOMETHING. At this point I can wait a year and see what options become available.

I feel the same way about getting something "good enough" for now. I'm going with the Roush axle-backs. That'll be relatively cheap and at least give me some bass and growl, while eliminating those sad stock tips.

By the way, I watched your video again on my TV and it sounded even better on there (as it should). I picked up more of the rumble and bass.

Just to be clear, it came shipped directly from MRT like that?

He bought it from another vendor but they didn't repackage it from my understanding. That is how MRT boxed it, and the other vendor just reshipped it out or drop shipped it from MRT directly to the customer.

Wow. It makes one really question ordering from MRT if that's really the way they're shipped.

No, but MAP nailed it. The vendor just reshipped it from their warehouse.

It was reshipped from them, but certainly not reboxed.

Yup, my thoughts exactly.

I emailed the vendor yesterday and they are contacting MRT to see if they will at least send me a new muffler section. The vendor seems willing to help so far.
